    Sometimes it appears so incredible to me that how some very simple ideas/techniques work in real world so easily (in this case just a plastic cup, a permanent magnet and a copper coil - things that are quite 'primitive' - would create the desired output). Refining the implementation details would of course make it the "cutting edge", but underneath it is so simple!

    I think the movement of the cone is was creates the vibrations. The electrical current moving through the wire causes the magnet to move the cone.
