Today, I had to replace my city window sticker, so I searched on RUclips to figure out the easiest way to move the sticker.
After viewing a few videos, I found a simple solution...
All you need is some water and a paper towel.
Wet the paper towel completely, and apply it over the entire sticker. Hold in place for about 15 to 25 seconds...
By doing this, it loosens up the adhesion glue. Next, remove the paper towel, and attempt to grab one of the edges of the sticker.
If done correctly, you will be able to pull the sticker right off.
It's hard to believe it's that simple, but shockingly, it actually works.
Don't take my word for it, go out and try it.

You should make sure not to get goo gone on the paint. Also after wiping adhesive off, spray isopropyl alcohol instead of glass cleaner. Removes oils and waxes,etc.

It helps to let the sun warm up the window adhesives soften up with heat. If you have brittle stickers also as you're scraping spray with a 50/50 water alcohol solution for lubrication.

Yes you can, I have a lease too, and I have a few stickers on my car window. However, I would advice not to put any stickers on the body panels of the car because they might be harder and more costly to remove at the end of the lease.

So I have a question, when I took my sticker off my window it left a black shadow where it used to be, I can read every word my vinyl sticker read. It isn't sticky or anything, it literally looks like my window in tinted from the vinyl. Any tips or even know what I'm talking about lol?

It sounds like the tint from under the sticker was protected, and while everything faded around it, the tint under the sticker remained nice and dark

I would not recommend that. In this video, I backed the car up and let the glass sit in the sun for about an hour. Another way is to use a heat gun to warm them up before removal

Vinyl stickers should be applied in temps between 70-80 for best results. You can try heating up the glass a little, which would help “activate” the adhesive and help it stick. You’re mostly likely having issues with adhesion due to treatments. Many automatic car washes use RainX, 3M, or other products that resist contaminates from sticking, which makes it hard for stickers to do their thing and actually stick. The only thing we have sound that will help remove the treatment is rubbing alcohol
