    Poultry can also exacerbate gouty arthritis ("gout"). All food with moderate to high levels of "purine" nucleotides [DNA & RNA] should be avoided or at least minimized. Here is a short summary of the foods to avoid: www.arthritis.org/living-with-arthritis/tools-resources/expert-q-a/gout-questions/food-for-gout.php

    I absolutely love these lectures. They tie in perfectly to an online A&P class I am taking at a University here in Arizona. The material is perfectly coordinated to my curriculum. I would love to get copies of the handouts that Professor Fink creates. Any suggestions out there?

    Professor first of all I would like to say thank you for this great lecture. It really helped me at anatomy class but I have a question. Is radial-carpal joint a biaxial snovial joint or a multiaxis snovial joint? Because if condylar joint means multiaxis synovial joint my lecturer says the latter one is true. Thanks for attention. I am looking forward for the upcoming lectures.

    • @professorfink
      @professorfink  6 лет назад +1

      As I describe at time mark 49:40, the radial-carpal joint is biaxial, permitting flexion-extension and abduction-adduction movements.

    there is something I don't understand : why only red meat is related to uric acid? isn't poultry meat skeletal muscles as well? aren't they multi-nucleated?
