Despite Friends will be friends and good old fashioned lover boy aren't the most underrated songs in their respective albums, Dancer and Headlong are really underrated in my opinion
@@rockandrollallnite in my opinion, good old fashioned lover boy is the love child of bring back that leroy brown, seaside rendezvous and lazing on a sunday afternoon, which, as you might've noticed, 2 of them are listed. For the albums I have listened to: Queen: The Night Comes Down is pretty good, but my favourite from the whole album is Great King Rat, which others haven’t held up. Queen 2 I really like Nevermore but love White Queen (As It Began). Not a bad pick at all. Sheer Heart Attack: You nailed it, but I should also mention In The Laps Of The Gods Revisited A Night At The Opera: Death On Two Legs I find a bit too negative, but I’d probably take The Prophet Song over Bohemian Rhapsody (that’s still my 2nd favourite on the album) A Day A The Races: I’d probably say the most underrated is White Man News To The World: Nailed it again, my dude Jazz: Definitely my favourite non-single on the album The Game: Need Your Loving Toonight was surprisingly fun on my first listen, and I really like the emotion from Save Me Hot Space: I might actually say Action This Day is the most underrated on their most *disliked* album The Works: Really enjoyed Tear It Up. And I’m keeping B-sides of the album countdown, but every B-side except Soul Brother (kinda hate that one), Thank God It’s Christmas and Stealin’ would be candidates for this list. A Kind Of Magic: I would say either Gimme The Prize or Don’t Loose Your Head is the most underrated (or probably over-hated The Miracle: My least favourite album, the only non-singles I can remember are Was It All Worth It and my (I suppose our) pick, Rain Must Fall Innuendo: I really like Don’t Try So Hard, and I’m not sure who else does Made In Heaven: I would probably also say Let Me Live as Mother Love is loved and you can hardly call Yeah! a song And yes, I do update this comment as I listen to more albums.

Some interesting picks. I would have chosen these: Queen: My Fairy King ( a prequel like March of the Black Queen to Bohemian Rhapsody, absolutely brilliant) Queen II: White Queen Sheer Heart Attack: Lap of the Gods (some amazing vocals by Roger, even live when drumming) A Night at the Opera: I’m in love with my car ( they even make fun of it in the movie ) A Day at the Races: Millionare Waltz (not many rockbands out there that made an actual waltz you know? 😅) News of the World: Fight from the inside ( Slash said this is guitar riff is his favorite ) Jazz: Dreamers Ball The Game: Dragon Attack Hot Space: Cool Cat The Works: Machines A Kind of Magic: One year of Love The Miracle: Was it all worth it (John said it was his favorite track on the album) Innuendo: Ride the wild wind Made in Heaven: Mother Love
I’m not sure I’d call Flick Of The Wrist, Death On Two Legs, Jealousy, Dragon Attack or The Hero the most underrated tracks from their respective albums. Indeed Death On Two Legs is positively infamous.

I always considered Let Me Live (song from the last album) as one of many Queen's goodbyes. In this case, emphasizing them both as a happy band, with each of the vocalists singing (Freddie-Brian-Roger) their own piece. It's like if it's saying: "you're gonna miss each one of us". And also, with the phrase "Let me live", which is about love, in the context of the lyrics, but that always resonates with me as Freddie saying he doesn't want to die. Or in any case, that we should live fully, before the end inevitavely arrives.
Was it all worth it is just amazing… not only it’s underrated, but is by far the best song of « The Miracle « .. problem was the format, not fitting for FM radios, thus not adapted to be edited as a single back then… No surprise it was the last song of the album (« chinese torture » and « hang on in there » being considered bonuses « ..
