Marble Clock Art - Grandfather Clock 1

My 1st marble clock sculpture COMES TO LIFE!
This rolling ball kinetic sculpture with moving parts was made using GraviTrax. Though it's not a true timepiece, the FEEL of a timepiece is mimicked by the pendulum swing, the moving hands, the sound of the chime, and the sound of the stream of marbles representing the steady stream of time.
Building a marble clock is not easy. I had to invent several new ways to use GraviTrax pieces in unconventional ways. I hope you enjoy the result!

Hmmm.. it would be possible to motorize the dipper switch, I think, because there is access to the switch from the underside of the tile.
