And I sure as hell am not a russian hacker.
Did I forget to mention that my lushious thick, and shiny brown hair is at the upper layer of my hair, and underneath is light brown straight hair. My skin is the on the paler side. And my Accent is something in between. 😂

I can relate, but you still look more black than me. I'm mixed with irish, black, and mexican, but i have crazy curly hair (even more crazy than yours), freckles, brown eyes, and really light skin. Why can't i have a look that's more in between? like maybe having tan skin, but nope. i feel like people will think i'm just white. When i started school this year one guy in my class asked if i was mixed, and when i said yes he was trying to get a high five saying "my nigga" and i was just baffled. I gave him a weird look and he took the hint. It gets akward, as you can see, it's like people try to treat me different once they find out i'm not just white. Definitely the hair. I used to think it should be just one mixed texture between the races but having some curls that are whiter and some that are blacker it is a hassle u really can’t treat all of it the same.
Ha! I haven't gone to a 'professional' hairdresser in years because they never knew what to do with my hair. My mom is the only one I trust to cut it properly. Wouldn't change it for anything tho. tons and tons of conditioner!!! Curly hair is usually so dry (especially when not properly moisturized) so make sure you get some leave in conditioner too. It helps keep your hair healthy and moisturized! Also it takes time for your curls to transition from dry and damaged, to healthy. Don't get discouraged if you don't see immediate results:) Most of all love your hair, i used to struggle with accepting my big curls, but now i love them:) Thanks for watching!!

I’m black went to a white school where people would say I act white. My family is vegetarian so the chicken jokes really annoyed me. No hairdressers could do my hair in my neighbour hood. People ask where I’m from because of my accent. Ignorance is just the problem, because you’re black & white people want to use a stereotype to justify their ignorance. Hey, I came across your video and I relate so much. I am mixed, dads black and moms white. And people are confused all the time and a lot of people are really rude about it. What you said about your hair is so true!!! I relate so much. I'm even confused about my hair and I went through a lot of problems with my hair. I have really tight curls at the top, then they get looser towards the bottom and some places its straight. Also I love your hair. And do you ever have people say "you aren't even black or you aren't even white" cause I have that a lot and it just puts me down and confuses me even more. And my skin... in the winter I get lighter and thats when people are like you're white with crazy hair. In the summer I get darker. I apprecaite this video as a mom as a mixed race daughter. She also goes to a mostly white school & lives in a mostly white neighborhood, also from Southern MD. Thank you so much for sharing!!! My daughter is very light like you & she has been at her white friends homes and their parents say things like "well I would have owned slaves back in the day, cuz it wad the thing to do", another parent talked about how much they hate black people or things they hate about them and tell my daughter, we don't mean you though. You could pass for white and you act white, so we don't mean you. Like are you serious?? You just disrespected and degraded half of what she is, her father and all her family on that side and that was an appropriate convo in front of her because she doesn't count?? My son has had people tell him I cheated with a Puerto Rican or Mexican cuz he doesn't fit what a 'typical mixed' kid should look like. It's so frustrating as a mom and I appreciate hearing from the kids side and reading the comments.
Technically, you can't say you're exactly half black, because when you get your pair of DNA from your parent your body gets to choose every part of DNA it likes. You have to take the test to see, you might be 70% from your dad and 30% from your mom. So if your dad is black you are 70% black.

I can relate. I am half caucasion and half filipino. I never knew where I belonged. especially during international day at school i never knew what to wear because i was part of two separate cultures.
I'm mixed (Asian and African, but NOT African American) and people think im indian, or they think im black if i'm wearing a hat that covers all of my hair.

The most ignorant comments i got has a biracial child growing up was the white kids all always asking me "you look white but i can see the black in you or when i am around full black kids asking me you sort of look black but you look white" and i tell them yes i am mixed my mom is black and my dad is white and the you're point is lol its not a struggle its more annoying cause one side you have black people telling me that i have white privileges but i don't cause white people look down at me more cause the fact is that im half black and have black features but have light skin. But whatever i deal with the negative side on both sides i love my parents .

I felt the Chinese thing. I'm black and white and have darker skin and super curly curly hair, I look super black but for some reason people think my hair is permed and I'm indian or Chinese

When its short - curly/wavy
Long - straight & flat
Also some parts are blonde, red & mostly brown

My Dad is from the Bronx and my Mum is from Scotland. I live in Scotland with my mum and my dad and it's hard for me because out of all my brother's I'm the one that looks most like my dad which means that white people are like "he is just black" and the black people are like "you're just that light-skinned n***a"

Im mixed. And one thing i really hate is when we take a test and it asks what your race? White, black, Native American, Hispanic. I get so confused so i pick white and black then i get yelled at for picking more than one so?? Huuhhh? I am white and black. To make a long story short, they put me down as white.
This must be an American thing, I’m from the UK and I just hang with everyone my bestfriends are Irish, Black, Russian, Scandinavian, Italian... me being mixed race isn’t even thought about in my school everyone just hangs with everyone
bi racial people tend to hold a uniqueness that's intriguing and the contrast from one to the other with similar lineage is striking 99% of the time no offense is meant when youre asked what race you are - the younger generation r showing me that race isn't as relevant as it used to be and isn't a question i should be concerned with but its still a question i ask...they did say that mixing would bring about a unity though, i didnt believe it but i'm witnessing it now
I am completely white and I have mixed textures of hair. My hair is very curly in some spots and just wavy in others. It is so irritating.

Most of my life i went to a white school but,This year I'm in a more black school.I wasn't white enough and i could not just throw my hair in a messy bun or whatever and look 'trendy' like them.Yes i had my friends but idk i just felt left out.And now I'm in a school were most people are black and my bfs likes my crush and he kinda likes her . You know the drill he said he did not like me cause i not black and he wanted somebody his on skin tone. My bfs who likes him told him i liked his older brother too and my crush told his older brother and i can't go to his b-day party but all my friends can (including my bff) .And to make it worse his parents hate me too :D

My daughter is very light like you & she has been at her white friends homes and their parents say things like "well I would have owned slaves back in the day, cuz it wad the thing to do", another parent talked about how much they hate black people or things they hate about them and tell my daughter, we don't mean you though. You could pass for white and you act white, so we don't mean you. Like are you serious?? You just disrespected and degraded half of what she is, her father and all her family on that side and that was an appropriate convo in front of her because she doesn't count?? My son has had people tell him I cheated with a Puerto Rican or Mexican cuz he doesn't fit what a 'typical mixed' kid should look like. It's so frustrating as a mom and I appreciate hearing from the kids side and reading the comments.

Technically, you can't say you're exactly half black, because when you get your pair of DNA from your parent your body gets to choose every part of DNA it likes. You have to take the test to see, you might be 70% from your dad and 30% from your mom. So if your dad is black you are 70% black.

I'm fully black and I can't dance, and I think all curly hair is like that. My hair is looser in certain places.
