The guitarist is Taku Inoue, who composed 'Stellar Stellar', and the pianist is also a frequent collaborator. Together, they make up Midnight Grand Orchestra.
I also recently learned that Suisei wrote the lyrics to 'Stellar Stellar', which makes it hit home even harder.
Ohhhh! Had no idea that was the composer! The lyrics are so great.
Its her story of how she wanted to take her success with her own hands. Which is also why she fought hard when applying on Vtuber agencies to not change her already indie-established "Hoshimachi Suisei" persona, because its been with her since the beginning.
@@lopezroilans.8384 and she really did make her success with *literally* her own hands; she wrote her own songs, learned to draw and rig her own avatar, and refused to give up on it and take on a new persona.
Years and years of hard work and dedication and now its all paying off.
Might be worth checking out her concert from yesterday. The crowd was insane, the first 3 songs were live streamed for free on her channel.

Suisei has actually done many live 3D concerts AND she used to be a part of Inonaka Music before moving over to Hololive proper so playing with live musicians and being in a recording studio is something that she's quite accustomed to by this point. The fact that she just put out a banger live show recently AND is currently preparing for Hololive's 4th Fes on top of whatever prep was needed for these First Take shoots means that she's working incredibly hard at music right now and I just hope that she gets some time to rest afterwards.
We hope she gets some rest as well.

Best part of all this was, as explained by hoshiomis, that while other guests had time to warm up, Suisei started cold. That's right, she just walked in and started singing immediately. That's super impressive considering you can hear where her voice is giving a bit.

Came from being an indie, working for other vtubers, working as a waitress (iirc), then when she tried to apply to agencies she keeps getting rejected including the company that she's in now rejected her once.
Was finally able to debut in a sister company of hololive, got transferred some things happened along the way then we're now here.
She got quite the Cinderella story but she's not, she's a star.
Suisei's perseverance is really amazing.

The man playing the guitar is Inoue the composer of the song himself. He became a fan of her voice during a sick period scrolling through RUclips.
They even made an unit together and hold a concert together.

also the first take has shown ppl hitting the mic filter etc so mistakes definitely happen
@@siekensou77 I only "know" the lyrics well enough because Kokoro Odoru was a song I used to play a lot on a game called Osu! Tatake! Ouendan! On the Nintendo DS.
I don't know enough Japanese to tell you what was wrong. Just familiar enough with the song that if I'm listening for it, I can tell something was off.
