Freezing the X4 single lens comparisons shows that the GoPro looks soft focus although the level of detail is generally the same despite the better resolution of the GoPro in its specs. This could be down to sharpness settings but for me the X4 acquits itself well in that mode, and it shows that it can be used just fine as a normal action camera.
You forgot both cameras are water proof. Also you forgot the go pro 12 needs a media mod accessory to enable an external mic via usb type c and the insta360 x4 does support a wireless Bluetooth mic such as the dji mic 2.
While I’m impressed with what you can create, I’m not the biggest fan of these super fast transitions and angles. Can you still create a normal FOV cinematic video without all the crazy views? I’m completely new to all these cameras
Go pro do a 360 camera as well, the Go pro 12 has a larger sensors compared to the 1/2 inch X4 and that why you can see a better quality photos in the Go pro 12, enjoyed watching.
its insta 360 for the win for me i have both and use the 360 more . go pro you have to pay to use their app. i love how the 360 app is set up and the ai is crazy
Comparing single lens videos in this example is like comparing apples with oranges. The X4 has fisheye lenses. These lenses are never as sharp as regular lenses. The main advantage is shooting in 360 and reframing. The GoPro cant do that. The GoPro is crap. The Insta360 Ace Pro beats the GoPro handsdown.
Don’t let the algorithm trick you like it did for me. I bought the X4 because I wanted a 360 camera ( never owned one ). This is my honest opinion, the only advantage of the Insta360 is simply that, the 360 video for unique shots but I’ll choose my Hero 10 everyday over the Insta360. The 8K resolution is useless since you have to crop the video in order to edit and share it. Similar when comparing best phone camera with my Nikon, I can record on 1080P and will be far superior than those 4K - 64MP cellphone camera
ne minute recording over 1GB after edit it 100MB you cant let in your computer UN edit it there you need huge har disc your computer never gonna edit quick with insta360 software because cant use all your prosesor capacite 30 minutes 8K recording shuting down because of heating so not use summer... one lens schrach camera is useless unless you send them insta360 to hongkong x4 220 dollars x3 120 dollar cost a repair your garantie is useless for this you know why they send them with lensguard because you need it
Uh…, I’ve had an Insta360 x3 for over a year and a half and no lens scratches. Use a lens guard when not shooting and be careful while shooting. Then, you shouldn’t have a problem.

why you comparing 4K vs 5.3K on go pro? i think you should use a maximum close settings, so on X4 should be 5.7K and gopro 5.3K
