I will make an update video, however if you ground the harness closer to the front of the engine bay, the harness will reach the second fog light no issues!
The fact you have to take apart the car just to do headlights is crazy. I have this car and love it, but it’s sad the work we have to go through just for headlights lol
No kidding. My other vehicles are a 2001 Silverado HD and 2006 suburban LTZ (yes GM did in fact build an LTZ in 2006!) and there are two vertical pins that rotate and pull up to remove the headlight housing assembly. It’s a total tool free process!
@@Chvelle68 good question. I did not. Since it’s tapped into the fuse box I’m trusting the fuse to blow if problems arise. The only thing changed outside of this video is the negative cord mount point which I still owe you all an update video on.
@@everythingcapriceppv2320 But that’s not how fog light work. In fog you need the low beams off - the whole point of fog lights is they are low so you don’t get as much dazzle from the fog. And of course only clueless inconsiderate fuckwits drive at night in normal conditions with their fog lights on. I’m sure you’re not one of those annoying wankers ;)

Thanks for the video, I just ordered all 4 - wish me luck.
It’s a great change. The harness fits if you mount the negative on one of the headlight screws and not where I show in the video.
Good job and very informative. Also, thanks for the links.
Can you tell me what bulb size in the fog lights. I have those housings but they came without bulbs
Did you have to get an anti flicker harness for the low beams?
Nope I haven’t had any issues either with flickering
Hey man i bought the same wiring harness you used and was wondering if you used the small red wire with the terminal to tap into the fuse box?
Yes I just stripped the end and tapped the fuse. Also move the negative from shown in video to a headlight screw to allow it to reach
@@everythingcapriceppv2320 appreciate the reply man. One more question you tapped into either the L or R park lights correct?
@@Og_gbay correct. It doesn’t matter. That way you can run fogs in parking only mode, or when the full lights are turned on
How do you turn the fog lights on and off?
They are on the fuse for the park lights, so when the full night time headlights are on (not the daytime running lights) the fog lights come on.
@@everythingcapriceppv2320 Did you use an Add a Fuse adapter for the positive wire into the parking light fuse or another method?

How did you tap into the fuse box or the side marker
Great channel!
