I'm in my seventh decade and still have much to learn. What I do know is that by following PRHR I have just learnt a whole lot more than I did before about Lake Michigan. Brilliant. 73 M7BLC.
@@johnnorth9355 Hey John good to see you again! Aren’t we all perpetual students? I was so glad that sign was there to inform us of the origins of Lake Michigan! I was wondering all weekend how that big lake got there 😆
I have a few questions if you don't mind from someone who just started learning about this stuff! :D 1. What band do you usually broadcast on? 2. What times do you usually broadcast? 3. How far does your radio transmit (on average)? TY and 73 from Michigan
@@shepardpower Hi! Thanks for your comment. It depends. 1. In the video I was activating on 146.520 Mhz but HF is where all the action is at in Michigan or Indiana. 2. I activate POTA whenever I wake up on the weekend. 3. On 146.520 MHz maximum distance I’ve experienced is 130 miles with similar antenna but that was at 9,000 ft elevation. Thanks so much for watching and commenting, 73!
Hi, Thanks for that Alan I enjoyed the manic pace up & then back down. Some beautiful trees there, 73.

I went to the Dunes on Wednesday. That place is always gorgeous.
