My mum is 73 and wants me to pass on her sincere thanks!
Her switch was broken and she couldn't get a replacement from the Skoda dealer, apparently due to war in Ukraine where the parts come from.
She had been quoted over £250.00 Sterling. We managed to get the part for £50 (I believe this is still expensive) but she managed to replace it herself after following your video.
She is absolutely delighted. I am too!
    Thank you so much.

Thanks so much for this. Made it so much quicker and easier (and less likely to break something) than just trying to work it out. I don't think I'd have found the two side screws without trying to take the steering wheel off, so this video was a great find for me. Also the lugs at the very back that you have to fit the top cover into to make it all fit back nicely were a mystery to me until I watched this (I'd been trying to get it apart but didn't know about the two front screws, so I couldn't get it to mate back up tightly afterwards). Nice job! 👍
