As someone who read Batman’s 497 in the 90’s, and still have it somewhere 😅, I loved this set! Yes, true the Batman face was a bit exaggerated in the paint and the cape may be too shiny, but the set is fantastic.
Hello Spot! I'd been waiting for that Toy Reviewing Forever. I'm glad seeing the New McFarlane Toys Batman 🆚 Bane 2-Pack Figures, my Friend! What Spectacular Looking Figures! 🌟
Very cool 2 pack. Bane is awesome. I agree with everything you've mentioned about the Batman though. I hope to snag this 2pack but when it goes on sale. Hopefully with the end of the Year coming, there will be some good sales.
I do really like this set. I missed out on previous McFarlane Knightfall figures, so this was very welcomed. I would agree regarding Batman's face. I don't mind it per say, but I think it would have worked better if the blood was just coming down from one side of his mouth. There's a picture in the Omnibus that shows this. It's not a big deal though. Bane looks fantastic and is why I bought it. I get why they went oversized again and I've not issue with that. The look is spot on from the comic.
Honestly, I think it’s a major oversight not to include a stand for Bane’s foot. I assume the number one reason most people would buy this is to pose it in that classic comic pose. But without a base, obviously Bane won’t stand on just the one leg. While it’s advantageous for you that you had one that just works, you likely have a plethora of such things thanks to your channel/collection. For the average Joe, finding something suitable is just one more step outside of “buy and bring home.” Not everyone has the time or wants to spend the effort to search for something to use to make the thing they bought work for what is clearly the intended purpose. For most figures it doesn’t matter, because those are often general pose-type pieces. But this piece is clearly intended to represent and be posed in that famous scene. Thus, it’s a major fail not to include an applicable base for Bane’s leg.
I ended up finding this 2 pack in my local Target. I love this set. I missed the First Bane and was pretty disappointed that I wouldn't have a Bane for my Batman Rouge's display but this 2 pack was exactly what I needed. I like to think of this s Bane, with Batman as an accessory for back breaking.
I like this Bane figure because he is more classic looking and Batman looks cool despite Bane being the only villain ever to break his back and Azrael aka Knightfall took over than Bruce got better to take back Gotham, I don't have it but Great review.
I love bulky figures, and honestly I think Bane is definitely one of my all time favorite figures that McFarlen toys have made!! I’ll have to try to pick this one up!! Bane was always my all time favorite character in DC ❤️❤️
This is a nice looking Batman Knightfall Batman Vs Bane 2-pack. I actually don't mind Batman's head sculpt, but that's just my own personal opinion. I like it, but I don't love it because of the issues that you mentioned. The battle damaged effect has been nicely done. Articulation is pretty good. The figure is nicely painted. However, I agree when it comes to the cape being too shiny and too long. Bane looks great. I really like the head sculpt. Once again, articulation is pretty good. The figure is nicely painted. However, the skin tone is a bit too pale. The musculature would've been more noticeable if the figure had been given some extra paint. Despite some issues, this is still a very good Batman Vs. Bane 2-pack on the part of McFarlane Toys. Thanks, Spot! I really appreciate it! Keep it up! God bless and stay safe!
Nice review! However i must say...no comparison with the dcuc baf bane or the dc direct bane?? I remember the dcuc bane was in your hall of fame. It certainly still holds up as an amazing looking figure.
Will you be reviewing the spinmaster toys Kratos figure from Ragnarok at some point? Its pretty great and is the only version of him we have from that game
Not so long ago I read the entire KNIGHTFALL saga....tie ins and all. The main concept was fine. More so when Bane was the big villain. But after he got taken down the whole story became tiresome. In contrast, THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN was much better. Less comics yet it managed to tell the story perfectly in the 3 acts: Death, Reign and Return. ...in fact, Superman isn´t one of my main favorite superheroes (though I respect him) and yet even I got the reasoning for the story. After he dies and the plt keeps going without him you end up missing him and wanting him to come back. By the way, another reason why in another life Spot and I would have been besties. Spot´s favorite Batman villain is Bane that comes from an imaginary Caribbean island why I do actually come from a Caribbean Island. ;)

Great Job for Posing those Action Figures, Spot! That was the same Iconic front Cover Comic Art of Bane Breaking Batman's Back. 🔥 🌟

GREAT 👌 THE REVIEW SPOT ❤ KNIGHTFALL BATMAN 🦇 VS BANE TWO PACK REVIEW 👌
You should review the trapper figure from dead by day light

I wonder how Batman got his suit ripped without it drawing blood?

Can you do a review on the new collector edition Red Hood please
unfortunately don't have that one yet
I don't like his chin. The original release has a chiseled chin. This one has a rounded chin that looks too big, looking like Robert Z'Dar over here😬
