I’ve learned over the years the hard way. When a truck has been sitting for awhile. You have nothing but problems. I just stay away from trucks sitting over a year and specially ones that people have been robbing parts off of.
Normally anyone getting into something like this already knows that it needs to be gone through top to bottom with essentially new everything. Anyone who thinks they are gonna be able to put some batteries in something that's been parked and run it down the road even if it was tip top and parked inside is a fool. To even attempt to run something that's been parked requires full air line and hydraulic line replacement thoroughly inspecting everything in the electrical system for corrosion n rodent damage tires brakes wheel seals bearings airbags suspension n steering components cooling system water pump hoses unless something that is "parked" gets a 100 or so miles a month put in it it's gonna need a ton of work before you can run it or you are only asking for endless headaches n breakdowns as all the stuff thay should hsvr been replaced starts to fail bit by bit piece by piece week by

Maybe one day you’ll finish a project until then I guess we’ll never know I’d hate bring westen waiting all this time I’d hope you build it better than what you built so far
I would just fix what needs fixing or replacing and make her a good reliable money-maker. Of course, it needs paint and maybe a few shiny goods, but I wouldn't go crazy with it.
Pretty sure he was sorry when it was moved out not in high he didn't want to see it go not hating I love em he is the best truck builder around here for sure
I say you really go through that truck inside and out make it road worthy new tires lights front and back tune up and freshin up the motor and transmission and gears
Get the new to you black Pete cleaned up and road ready. Work it for a few months put it through its paces on some good short runs and then start making it look good put some black fender on the front and a good detailing on the truck polish the tanks and steps put some of the old stacks you have laying around it will look really good the paint doesn’t look horrible. It’s a good straight truck id think about wrapping it.
Hey Tim, what's Rob doing with the Ford LTL 9000 dump truck. The Pete looks nice, can't wait to see the finished product. Stay safe out there my friend and keep the videos coming and always travel safely catch you on the next one.
Good lookin truck. My goal is to build a long nose from the ground up, starting with a roller. I know it makes more sense to most people to buy new, but the old steel just looks better. Something you can't get out of a new truck is that sound right there.
I can see a whole new channel. Gentry and sons “gave truck rescue”. About trucks that should have been for the scrap heap Brought back to life by Tim gentry and his GOAT crew!!
Tim Gentry & Sons Trucking, i just think that anyone with a heart would not be able to walk right pass those cute ponies without being heart broken. 👈👺👀👀👍
Tim I've been watching you since the stolen truck. The cabover is definite one that I would love to see be done. It's one of the things that's kept me watching your channel.
Stretch it, take the Fahrenheit. Leave the Virginia, paint the top of the hood to match. And I think you'll have one nice truck if you put even if you put some pin strips on it.
Frame stretcher and put it to work I think you should frame stretch rooster and put a lift axle under and make it the Heaven Hall truck for the big boats and yets
completely fix up the inside now for a driver. gut it out new seats cabinets so he can drive in comfort and just clean up the outside. buff and polish it
Good luck with the old lady she is a good investment for little money to get back on the road and make money for the family and your a good man and smart business man and I appreciate you and your family and the work and dedication to the craft
This would be the perfect truck to build into the heavy haul truck that you are wanting to build . Strech the frame to a 305 o r a310 with the third axle and a full decked out heavy haul truck .New paint and redo the inside . just saying things on the key board again .
Tim l absolutely LOVE your addiction it's the best one to have next to a Beautiful woman NEVER stop your addiction. Really like the New Pete for the company Yes it will be a good Truck for one of your drivers. The only thing about the Truck I wish it had a CAT 😺 MOTOR in it instead of a Detroit it would have been more like Roster then Roster would have had a little brother.
DUde, I'm amazed that took so much to get out of the hole. Those are nice luggy tires with non closed corner tread. It should have walked out of there no problem.
285” wb in my opinion is a awesome wb for everyday driving . That is measured from center of steering axle to middle of the 2 drive axles not front bumper to rear of the frame!!! I sure hope I can make to to MATs to see everybody..
Just sad that they would just let this beautiful Pete just sit there and rot so to speak..But you will give it new life. Glad to see that.. The old girl fired right up and sounds good. Keep the old school paint scheme that is on it now.
Tim you have no idea how many of us would love to have a truck like that and have no way of getting one I think you need a 64-year-old driver that's been driving for 45 years

Tim you just keep on doing what your doing . Things will work out for the best in the end don't worry what other people are saying. There are always going to be many people with various options lol. From Saskatchewan Canada
Hey, Mr. Gentry, I love your videos. Keep doing it. Go with the heaters, bug it down. Keep doing what you're doing. By the way, this is John in Utah. Have a great day hope to see you guys real soon

hopefully with your tow company you can start your own salvage yard business and body shop and repair business. Your son Braxton is so advanced at a young age you are never going to have to worry about him much and i am sure the others are very smart children as well. Put a couple of silver fenders on and a bumper , stacks and buff it out and roll on. Thats all the pete needs
Totally agree
You need that LTL dump truck sitting next to it!
That's what i was thinking too lol
I glad he got someone to paint westons truck. Hope weston has someone go thru it when (if)he gets it back
Lol. 🤣🤣🤣
He will lucky if he gets anything at all

@OOpSjm yeah but tim and crew are still touching it
