Hey man I’ve been on the game since the release, and pretty much watched you on RUclips since you started. I have no idea who you are as a person or anything like that, but watching the personal transformation just following this content makes me genuinely happy.
Hearing you say stuff like “Ah my bad”, “Oh nice try, well done by my mate” and things like that pretty much all through your gameplay is such an important mindset to have. I feel like a couple years back that wouldn’t have happened at all. At least not in the videos.
We need a lot less toxicity in this community, and way more self reflection and humility.
You have made a personal journey here that’s extremely rare to see, and it just feels so very good to watch man.

@@Team_Blazes tbf u mention some of the most liked and sympathetic content creators (and pros) in the scene. I have though seen Squishy be a little toxic sometimes following frustration from the play on field.
I don't think OP meant content creators in general as there is always exceptions and even different degrees of toxicity. In Scrub's case though there is an almost 100% difference in attitude compared to some of the outbreaks that seemed to be standard not that long ago. I think it's this change of attitude OP is trying to praise and point out and by mentioning videos OP might actually refer to Scrub's videos...
Love the change though. Humility and the ability to take responsibility on yourself instead of pointing fingers at everyone and everything else is definitely a breath of fresh air in this game and makes you cheer even more for the guy you're watching.

I can’t really put my finger on it but scrub just seems slower? Very stiff playing like as if vsync is on or something, I remember a couple years ago he was speedy af hitting flip resets consistently. I feel like something is hindering him, whether it’s sens settings or server/router settings.
I think it's age man.

Is everyone that much better than a couple years ago or is Scrub a little rusty? Feels like these opponents all can read him perfectly, which isn't what I remember from seasons past.
@@aeroragesys Everyone is much better nowadays, I don't know your rank but a diamond 2 3v3 lobby nowadays is almost the same as the pros in 2019, the game is way more mechanical and fast now. I doubt Scrub is rusty, just watch the world final match he won against G2 and compare with this video, you will see he's way faster today.
Diamond 2 is an exaggeration. Even Champs are way more inconsistent compared to pros from 2019. That's probably still GC3, although on the less mechanical side. @@LizemPool
@@thosko98 no it is not, from a high rank perspective champions players might seem bad but trust me, create a smurf account, find 2 diamond teammates on 3v3 and play a little bit, at least in SAM it's like that, and watch 2019 pro gameplay, it's very similar.
@@LizemPoolmechanically it might look similar, because pros weren't speed flipping yet, and the mechanics were a lot simpler. But Diamond players just lack the consistency of even 2016 RLCS. That's probably still Champ level gameplay. I queue with a guy who was a bubble player in 2015, and while his movement is simple (no speedflips or directional air roll, can barely get a flip reset) the man is really good at dribbling and banging the ball on target, which lets him hang easily in GC2 despite inferior mechanics compared to most other players. Also watch back a D2 replay and the lack of coordination will be plain to see.
