Cook for 5 minutes
1 onion
Vegetable oil
2 eggs
Salt - 1 teaspoon
Black pepper
Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
Flour - 3 tablespoons
Fry for 3 minutes on each side
Sauce:
1 cucumber
Bunch of dill
1 clove of garlic
Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons

We have a similar dish called Bakwan in Indonesia. Only we add carrot, bean sprouts & spring onion to the batter, more spices, 2 types of flour, and no egg. Crunchy on the outside but soft on the inside. I think the japanese have something similar as well.

Healthy option: Fry it in ghee instead of vegetable oil and use almond flour instead of wheat flour. Seed oils should always be avoided, whether you’re vegan or keto.

With all due respect, it is not an alternative to meat as it has no protein.
It does have protein. The eggs and mayonnaise has more eggs. Looks good.

Interesting twist for cabbage , I might try this recipe.
It reminds me of Egg Fo Young, yet better. I prefer her sauce, & cabbage instead of mung bean sprouts. The bean sprouts in egg fo young, go off supper fast, & cabbage has a great shelf life in the fridge.

I'm such a health nut to where I wouldn't ever make cabbage this way. Me , just boil it and add salt, black pepper, and chili pepper, boil, that's it.

Very common food in my country. You can add other vegetable too like carrot, potato, cauliflower etc. Just a tip, keep these on kitchen paper to soak the excess oil. 😊
