You need a better microphone setup. Great info but hard to hear.

Great! I look forward to your new vids. Do you have any info on the rhodiola/cordyceps combo for endurance? They seem to help me quite a bit.

Hi. great content om your channel!! I have one question. After a warm up, how long are the muscles realy warm after the warm up? SO if I have an event, and I warmed up and then the start delay...how long are my muscle warm and also protected against injurys? Hope my words make sense...sorry for my bad english! Keep up your great work!

For endurance sports you want to aim for that 5 min mark so you still have an increased VO2.

@@MattyEPC Perfect, thank you very much for your answer :). I hope I can ask you another question. How long "stays" the muscle warm for sprinting? My trainer always says arround 15 Minutes, is that correct. I just ask, cause I have some cave problems. Thank you very much

@@heidewatzka Sprinting is a little different as muscle temp plays an important role in the speed of anaerobic energy production so we want the muscles to be as warm as possible (short time between warm up and race) but the physical act of exercising to generate the heat to 'warm up' depletes anaerobic energy stores which needs to be replenished before the race (so a long time before the race is better from this perspective) .
With this in mind there needs to be a balance between these or strategies used to overcome these.
One way elite sprint athletes do this is to physically warm up or prime their energy systems 20-30 min before their race and then keep their muscles warm using heated pants, eclectic blankets, hot water bottles etc so they maintain temp while allow their anaerobic energy system to replenish before their race.
It takes a bit of planning but if you are looking to maximize your performance depending on your level this might be worth it for you. If not then try to aim for ~ 10 min before start to get the best of both worlds.
      I hope this helps.
