I imagine their parents aren't exactly suffering in poverty. It is good to see young people succeeding but even better when they don't start from a comfortable position to begin with.
"It is good to see young people succeeding" was intended as a counter to my negativity. But, with so many kids being raised in poverty or in families that are struggling, just imagine how many amazing ideas never come to our attention.
Now that's good news coverage. 1. About our youth and their success stories. 2. Benefiting the workforce and economy of Britain. 3. Showing that anything is possible with a confident positive attitude.
I am 14 years old. My family use to live on foods stamps. We had to eat only 2 meals a day (in america!) When I started my affiliate marketing business and started to make 40k a month and then 260k a month My mom quit her job and I bought them a house. I am grateful for what I have and I always try to give as much as i can.
You're 14, I'm also r but I'm an African American and because of the color of my skin I might be at a disadvantage, I know you might not agree but can you help me with my business plan, I plan to become a millionaire so I can support my family too
Hard work and positive attitude isn't going to make everyone rich. I wish successful people will just be honest about that. Luck, connections, and wealthy parents are more contributing to whether you make it good or not.
if u saying u have less chance to become self made millionaire if u are in poor position then u are with poor mindset .Only when u start to think big with the new attitude only then u become rich. Newer underate yourself
plenty of rich people start from places likes the HOOD and work their way to mansions in LA. just because YOU can't envision yourself putting in the work, doesn't mean everyone else didn't either.
Good for them! I'm astounded by the generation born from the 2000s onwards. As all they know is the Internet, they know how to be fast paced with things. The financial crisis occurred during their childhoods so maybe that made them realise they have to make their own jobs.
First 15 year old, rich and snobby (before selling any books) The girls have friends in high up places. (can you get much higher than the royals?) The 'person of colour' looks loaded before he even spoke. Don't forget the people around you that aren't so well off or lucky or that have rich parents.Good luck to them all though!
@g & Spag Hetti. Yes you are both right a 15 year old that has books in 60 countries could do that on his own with no thought at all. I know 18 year olds that wouldn't have a clue were to start with that. I've worked hard all my life and still not worth 12 million so who's assuming now? They had help plain and simple none of these people did it off their own backs. If you believe that then your deluded as the BBC wants you to be. I wouldn't have wished them all good luck if i was jealous either. Bitter maybe but not jealous :P
It's not just about family businesses, it's about what the parents teach and tell their children. If all you tell your children is go to school and make me proud, you are doing it wrong.
Man these guys are so bright and happy. They smile all the way through their interview unlike people like Steve jobs , zuckerberg etc who put a serious face
That's because the kids are young and haven't found out what a shit life can be. Then with the rich parents they probably have they will never know how shit life can be.
I really want to be an entrepreneur but my parents aren’t wealthy and am a colored person so i already know it’s not gonna work no matter the “hard work” and “positive attitude” :(
Sometimes I like to wrap myself in a blanket and pretend I’m a ghost.
I imagine their parents aren't exactly suffering in poverty. It is good to see young people succeeding but even better when they don't start from a comfortable position to begin with.
Mr. Gloom, eh?
"It is good to see young people succeeding" was intended as a counter to my negativity. But, with so many kids being raised in poverty or in families that are struggling, just imagine how many amazing ideas never come to our attention.
They only had a small loan of a million dollar(+) to start with.
I couldn't turn 1 million dollars into 12
That sounds about right..
Yea, I'm loving those odds, my man
Blazed and Confused bruh it’s easy just put a 2 after it
Now that's good news coverage.

If your dad joined the right Masonic lodge you can be a fake millionaire
Not anything is possible with a positive attitude.
anything is possible WHEN YOU'RE BORN FILTHY RICH

How did these kids get the funds to start up their business is a question that was never answered in this clip.
They contacted some investors or angel business
Hard work and positive attitude isn't going to make everyone rich. I wish successful people will just be honest about that. Luck, connections, and wealthy parents are more contributing to whether you make it good or not.
Right!

AKA parents who founded businesses and used their own children as figure heads to sell products.
Manic Demise - Kate and Annie Madden say that they are "in school, obviously, most of the time" and they recommend flexible staff.
so bitter

Obviously had help from parents.
It's called 'being a toff'
Ye but not everyone with the help of parents can turn it into more
Give credit where it’s due. A lot of rich parents kids spend more on materialistic stuff rather than invest lol
Yes, because we can all be millionaires, there’s more than enough money and houses and mansions and Ferrari’s for all of us... that’s how this works
but not everyone wants to live in mansions and have fancy cars.
Zoe Nicole exactly I don’t like big houses I like small cozy houses
@@ruinedYourlife-sc6cq I like sheds by the swamp next to shrek

Nah, it's all about the attitude and drive. And jealous such as yours will only hold you back.

More like parenting done right.
Philip Cooper - Likely, family businesses. Not so unusual.
It's not just about family businesses, it's about what the parents teach and tell their children. If all you tell your children is go to school and make me proud, you are doing it wrong.
