Meg and Tom are a great pair on screen. 2 of their 3 movies together are pretty well known: Sleepless in Seattle and You've Got Mail. I think they are both pretty good but my favourite just happens to be the remaining odd one "Joe versus the Volcano", one of my all time favourites and I think it is probably the most underrated and most overlooked film in history.
So right -- I have long said it should be on a continuous loop at the Smithsonian . . .

1st of all i think you meant "Actress"...and 2nd of all....she was never nominated for an OSCAR yet alone win it...she was nominated for 3 golden globes, but never won it...so how is SHE one of the best actresses of all time?...Meryl Streep is the best actress 3 Oscars and 16 i repeat 16 Oscar Nominations!

It's none of your business. and yes, Meg has never been nominated for an Oscar but It doesn't mean that she's talentless. Too many great actors weren't either nominated for an Academy Award. The worst part is that there are people that won an Oscar but their careers are crashed up. Just look at Cuba Gooding Jr., Marlee Matlin, Penelope Cruz, Mercedes Ruehl... I just wrote that Meg is one of the best actors (actresses, if you like to get this "correctly") of all time, wheter if she won or not.

The greatest complement I can pay someone is not that I am there fan, but I like them. I like Tom Hanks and I like Meg Ryan. I wouldn't mind have either one of them as friends. That is the Life Achievment that I give them.
