That was funny, especially when Jeremy had that massive tea cosy on his head. Always enjoyed this programme when i was growing up. Better days. Much better than all this 3 judges, And and Dec modern wee crap
He cared for others, most of the money he earnt went to charity. Same cannot be said for the likes of Ant and Dec who are paid millions and do no good with it.

Just a disguise, a bit of fun. It wouldn't be done now, and rightfully so, but at the time it was not frowned on in the same way. I don't think less of him for it.
What I never understood about Beadle's About (aside from the alleged "victims" never clocking that everyone they spoke to during the stunt sounded like a really bad actor) was that a lot of Beadle's pranks involved people seemingly getting actual jobs. So what happened afterwards? Was that like the second part of the joke? And Beadle would be all "Oh, and you know you thought you'd found paid employment? Only kidding!!!!" 🤨

That Ford Capri would be worth a small fortune now.
even the cars he's hitting are worth a lot now
Cars then will last longer than the ones we have now & even the comedy/entertainment was better than the sh*t we have now.
Yep, nostalgia is expensive

Jeremy Beadle was awesome. Whether it was this or You've been Framed. This was a classic show
Beedle was a star. He gave all his money away to charity and was always there to help them.
Couldn’t take a joke himself though when pictures of him where published on the beach he went crazy
No he never, he raised 100 million for charity but did not give away all his own money to charity.

I'm off to the Guardians' comments page with a link to this. I'm sure all the lefties & art students there will appreciate Beadle's black face.
Beadle's black face was very offensive to minorities, they should take down his statue.
Alright thanks. His face at the end was priceless.
God bless Jerry Beadle!
