Normally a solar eclipse isn't a dangerous event, but for Soma Cruz being sucked through a portal and into Dracula's castle during one will turn his day into a total nightmare. As Soma you must venture through the castle and find a way out. As you do so, you will discover the true meaning behind the event, and why Dracula has risen yet again.
Those who greatly dislike that Aria of Sorrow's main character isn't related to the Belmont clan whatsoever can safely relax, because the powerhouse known as Julius Belmont enters the stage to destroy every boss faster then Soma ever could.
Julius is only available to those who have completed the main quest ( tasvideos.org/1681M ). While he can't do most of Soma Cruz's fancy tricks, he can get around just as quickly by glitching through walls and hopping madly around the castle, producing almost inhuman sounds with every jump.
This movie obsoletes the previous one in this category, despite having a longer time, because it uses hard mode, is more optimized and also manages to get into a Julius vs. Julius fight.

If he's this agile at 56 years old, then it's no wonder we never got the Battle of 1999. All the blast processing in the world couldn't handle 19 year old Julius Belmont.

This is honestly far too funny to watch, with him moving around like that and being so crazy OP versus everything he comes across. It's just so funny to watch and think that every boss is just watching him spaz about while yelling ULE all the time. Just makes me laugh and smile. Especially Graham, just watching him bounce all around the castle until he finally gets there to him, and it's like stopping a flubber man of death.

4:18 What's so special about the holy water and the Catoblepas that lets you do that? Is it some kind of speed conservation like the one done in SM64?
When one of those enemies turns around, the game tries to reset your position, which is why people use it to glitch into walls. I'm guessing the holy water is just something he did while waiting for it to turn around.

@Nick Gurr By baby one do you mean Legion? I remember he was in a side area all by himself, but I haven't played this game in forever.
@@evanseifert8858 Legion can be skipped. In my game I nearly skipped the golem in dance hall because with flying armor I reached the quarters in a tricky but glitch free jump. From the quarters i fought the headhunter entering from the other door. Then went to death and so on. I realised i could enter the dance hall in a random youtube video that popped up and so i went and did it after balore. But it is possible to skip that
I'm confused, since i haven't seen other run-troughs of Julius mode nor played trough it myself, but do you have to face "Belmont" as a boss normally? I would imagine that in a normal game you wouldn't have to do that, or do you?

You Don't face Julius as a boss in Julius mode (That would make no sense). Besides, that boss fight takes in an area where only Soma (After Defeating Graham with certain souls) can enter. This TAS Got to Julius Vs Julius thanks to Glitches
i know you asked this literally three years ago but in aria of sorrow the room where the julius fight happens is locked off till after you beat graham and julius mode ends at graham so it's impossible to reach the room where you'd fight julius in julius mode. whether or not the boss is even supposed to still programmed to be there is a different question entirely
You fight him as Soma, but Julius isn't supposed to be able to fight himself.
He is able to, he broke space-time with his lightning speed, so he is confronting another dimension Julius

I know this is 7 years late, but as Julius, no. Even if it was possible to get there similar to how the Julius v Julius fight here was done, I'm not sure the game would know how to process the first portion of the fight with chaos.
