When I was in Switzerland last summer I only did one mountain coaster. It was Rodelbahn at Heimwehfluh. It’s a Brandauer single rail alpine coaster like Rail Runner in Tennessee but it has a super weird lift system. You don’t even ride it back up. The forces are crazy too, it’s bonkers. Check that one out if you can.

The mountain coaster at Pradaschier in Churwalden was great. Thr longest in Switzerland. About a 2hr train and bus trip from Zurich but worth it. Our package included lunch in the neighbouring restaurant which was pretty decent.
I Recently came back from a small school Europe trip and I recommend going to Mount Pilatus. It's right next to the capital of Switzerland with a lot of transportation, and you have the option of using a long cable car ride up to the top. Hahaha, me and my girlfriend just came back from a trip to Hansa Park and Heide Park. We were even joking :"how funny it would be if we met the Coaster Studios-couple here..." and then we come home and the first thing we watch is your anouncement... Little advice: when you go to Heide Park make sure you are there when they open and go straight to Krake and Flug der Dämonen. We spend two days in the Park and on both days the waiting time was 40+ Minutes very quickly. You wanna ride those first before you go riding the other coasters.
You guys absolutely need to check out Rodelbahn Oeschinensee in Switzerland. It is an alpine slide at the top of a mountain with a breathtaking hike right next to it. I personally absolutely loved it and I highly recommended checking that area out even if you are just doing the alpine slide. Also in southern Germany, you guys should check out alpine coaster oberammergau. It took 20 minutes by chairlift to get to the top and they have a really nice restaurant at the top, you can end the experience with a ride down the alpine coaster. Let me just say that this alpine coaster without breaks is extremely scary because you go with an extreme amount of speed towards sharp turns but at the last second the trim breaks that are implemented into the track slow you down just enough to where you don’t derail. Ride that alpine coaster with no brakes if possible because it is supprisingly intense.
You responded to my top 10 on Cameo last year saying I didn't give much love to the UK seeing as I live here (except for The Ultimate because I like crazy coasters in the woods). Part of the reason for this is because I started a top 10 when I first went to the US and because there are so many amazing coasters there, the U.K. didn't get a look in. Well. Hyperia, somehow, lives up to the hype and it's my number 6 now! I wasn't putting much in the way of expectations on it, but I was expecting a top 20 ride perhaps.. not top 10. It's amazing. I think the outer bank (the 'Burton Roll'?) is one of the best elements I've ever done, and the drop is up there with the best in the world. Like Expedition GeForce at the back but even taller and and madder. Not just a 'sky rocket II' drop as it's more than vertical so it has you out of your seat like crazy the entire time, it's a FORCEFUL drop. The outer bank, if you sit in certain seats, actually remind me of the first crazy drawn out airtime hill on SteVe on the back. And this is a wave turn that is completely 90 degrees the 'wrong way round' (should have taken a picture when I was in Saw's queue line). All you see is the trees and the lake and feels like you're gonna go for a swim. You're in for a treat.
Will be keeping my fingers firmly crossed that Hyperia is open for you! Also, I understand if you don't feel it's big enough for a return visit but Paulton's Park opened an excellent new junior flume ride called Splash Lagoon a few weeks back (I rode on opening day). It looks absolutely beautiful and the theming is amazing. It even has animatronic dinosaurs! It also gets you wetter than the bigger log flume as well.

Speaking of Alpine Coasters.. you should ride Hasenhorn Rodelbahn. It's one of the best I've done and also one of the longest, if not the longest. It's an hour drive from Europa Park and it's located near the German/Swiss border
When in Switzerland, go ride Rodelbahn Burg Bis Tal in Interlaken! Brakeless that was the craziest mountain coaster I've been on. Also the Alpine Coaster at Glacier 3000, the highest alpine coaster (above sea level) in the world
Please ditch the new Drayton cred and go to Oakwood for Megafobia. Rode Mega yesterday and it was hauling, best woodie in the UK. Awesome airtime, literally standing up with a loose belt and lap bar. Have fun
a cool alternative to drayton manor could be fantasy island. although it's not worth a full day to visit, the two vekoma's are probably the largest creds left in the UK for you guys to get. it's indoor area is pretty cute too! can't wait for this new series though guys!!
@@CoasterStudiosDon’t bother with the new Cadbury world ride, it’s really dull and not well themed and mostly just screens. Fantasy island is a good alternative and it’s two Vekomas are awesome, also has some great dark rides. However, if Drayton Manors new coaster is open, definitely get down there. Hope I could help you two ❤.
@@CoasterStudios whichever you choose to do i'm sure will work out great! just thought i'd mention it as millennium and odyssey are pretty great coasters worth checking out. :)
Switzerland: Grindelwald First has a cliff walk, zip line down, and you can ride mountain carts down the mountain. Aare Gorge is an epic walk thru and close to the Gelmerbahn, the funicular that always goes viral as a “roller coaster” lol Oeschinensee is one of the best hikes in the world on the Panorama Trail. Like a 5 mile loop with 1600 feet gain but insanely epic. Theres also an alpine slide Of course Zermatt is amazing too but takes more time and planning (and $$)
Visited Drayton Manor for father's day the new coastera train was in the station but the queue line wasn't in place yet plus there was no planting, and the wave was closed 😢 but hyperia and nemesis reborn are both epic, you'll be blown away by voltron!
Since you are going to Hamburg, you should really look into miniature wonderland. It’s basically a theme park with how large it is and holds multiple Guinness world records.

I have driven Hyperia and Voltron, and I have to say that Hyperia is very good, but Voltron is better and more spectacular. We look forward to seeing you again in Europe soon. Have a great time here✌
For switzerland, I recomend the mountain coaster on pilatus, and no coasters but titlis is a worthwhile visit
Don't leave thorpe park until you do back row hyperia, it is another experience
So pleased your both coming back to Europe.
I’m very excited for this
Please go to Oakwood in Wales - it has the best wooden roller coaster in the UK!
YEEEEEESSSSSSS
Coastin' thru China is needed badly. That country is the biggest enigma to me as an American coaster fan.
Ahhh sad you guys aren’t going to Phantasialand but still can’t wait to watch!
There is nothing new there for them. And they are currently only adding theming to Klugheim and Mexico. No New attractions announced at the Moment.
@@brittariedel3446 ik there isn’t anything new I’m not GP I was js saying
Speaking of Alpine Coasters.. you should ride Hasenhorn Rodelbahn. It's one of the best I've done and also one of the longest, if not the longest.
It's an hour drive from Europa Park and it's located near the German/Swiss border
When in Switzerland, go ride Rodelbahn Burg Bis Tal in Interlaken! Brakeless that was the craziest mountain coaster I've been on. Also the Alpine Coaster at Glacier 3000, the highest alpine coaster (above sea level) in the world
Legoland Windsor is definitely a full day park and also, you should ride fairy tale brook. It's a classic.
Please ditch the new Drayton cred and go to Oakwood for Megafobia. Rode Mega yesterday and it was hauling, best woodie in the UK. Awesome airtime, literally standing up with a loose belt and lap bar. Have fun
a cool alternative to drayton manor could be fantasy island. although it's not worth a full day to visit, the two vekoma's are probably the largest creds left in the UK for you guys to get. it's indoor area is pretty cute too! can't wait for this new series though guys!!
thats true. One idea we had has a back up was visiting Warwick Castle and/or doing Cadbury World for that new dark ride
Switzerland:
Grindelwald First has a cliff walk, zip line down, and you can ride mountain carts down the mountain.
Aare Gorge is an epic walk thru and close to the Gelmerbahn, the funicular that always goes viral as a “roller coaster” lol
Oeschinensee is one of the best hikes in the world on the Panorama Trail. Like a 5 mile loop with 1600 feet gain but insanely epic. Theres also an alpine slide
Of course Zermatt is amazing too but takes more time and planning (and $$)
Visited Drayton Manor for father's day the new coastera train was in the station but the queue line wasn't in place yet plus there was no planting, and the wave was closed 😢 but hyperia and nemesis reborn are both epic, you'll be blown away by voltron!
I’m really excited about your upcoming visit to Bayern Park.
It is a shame that Liseberg is not on your list. One of my fav parks in Europe.
Finally Heide and Hansa Park 😍 so excited!
Thorpe park must be on the list!!!! Hyperia is next level!
Watching this video is making me excited for my summer trip: I’m going to San Diego in about a month for the first time in 19 years!
Since you are going to Hamburg, you should really look into miniature wonderland. It’s basically a theme park with how large it is and holds multiple Guinness world records.
Watch out in Switzerland and phone plans mobile internet is super expensive if you use a Europe simkaart. But take a local Swiss one
Can you vlog the eras tour!!
Since you said not to i wont spiler the ride for yall but all im gonna say is be ready for some surprises on Voltron. Very well themed ride and my new favorite in my home park. And if you dont mind me asking when around are yall going to be in Europa-Park and Switzerland?
Go to Liseberg, they have gotten a dive coaster and a Vekoma family and since you last went there Taylor
I hope you guys can get permission from Thorpe to do a rider cam POV of your first ride on Hyperia!! Would love to see your first time reactions!!
