All the animals are feeling the ghostly vibes of Halloween! We know you feed them everyday, cuz we watch you. They need their fat to fight the New Hampshire cold winter. A third skunk is in your trap, just bad luck. At least your not letting them loose on someone else's property, as so many do. The problem ends with your method. Sorry it's so cold. We saw Figerooooo this morning!! Have a wonderful day and I try too.🎃👿⭐🐩👻☠👾🤖😈👽🎃👿⭐🐩👻☠👾🤖😈👽🎃👿⭐🐩👻☠👾

The wood chips that you sold when the loggers cleared the land would make an excellent first layer in your chicken tent. We got a load from the highway crew and put it down in our gateways to kept them from getting muddy. It might be an option for you in your region.

Yup I had me one of those days yesterday. Everything was a little harder to do. Then it started raining. I just went in and relaxed for the rest of the day. Skunk is the one thing I haven't had yet. Had possums, raccoons, fox, coyote, neighbors dogs, and a few bobcats here lately. The good ones that I want around, (deer), have gone because of the coyote. Had a fawn and mother multiple times a day. I put up a feeder to help them get ready for the winter. Thanks for giving us everything. The good the bad and the ugly. It great to see how others deal. Your an inspiration to us, and that is never bad. Thank you.

Yees , and what was it like in July and August when your A/C wasn't working ? I've been in Phoenix during those months. With the streets so hot and deserted during the day it is hard to believe that so many people actually live in Phoenix. Little sign of humans until after the sun goes down. Here in the east we are outside during the summer to enjoy the sun shine with our window curtains wide open to allow the sunshine into our houses.

Ha ha , hi Suzi . And I'll be thinking of you in July when I am sitting outside in the sunshine enjoying my afternoon coffee.
I've lived out there in Nature's broiler. I've driven to Phoenix when My truck said , I don't care about the so called "dry " heat ! I'm going to boil over ! The problem is that your hot months last longer than our cold months. So , you have perhaps three good months a year . December , January and February, and then the heat begins. Again ! I have also found out that it costs a lot more to stay cool than it does to be warm.

1:29 Is the skunk pulling grass into the trap? It also looks like it's killing the grass wherever you've caught one.

If you set the trap inside the bag you have less risk of getting sprayed trying to get it in the bag. Also if you find a deep hole in the brook, drop the trap in and walk away. 10 minutes later you hav a dead skunk that didn't spray. I have found that the spray calls in other curious preadators that you don't want around chickens either.

From what you say about the animals, I would like you think winter is coming quickly for you.I hope it not a bad one. A time you stock up with hay & feed just in case you can not get out to buy it.
