- Another glorious day in Hyrule, another opportunity for Link to grab an orb thingy from one of those there The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom shrines, so he can “get jacked.” He’s chosen the wrong shrine this time, though: there’s a lady here that is hellbent on not letting the Hylian trample her nice flower maze.
This foolish boy isn’t going to shed any tears of kingdom - totk for short… winky emoji. No, he is determined to head inside that shrine, get into a bit of barney with a robot, and leave with some gear he didn’t actually need. It’s the Zelda Tears of the Kingdom way! It’s the Zelda Breath of the Wild way! It’s just the way!

The fact the shrine is half blue means link can teleport to it, but does not care

Y'know given the context under which you meet her, the flower lady is quite literally left with nothing but a coping mechanism in botw due to the calamity. It makes sense she would be so crazy to protect her flowers. *They are literally all she has*
she chilled out a lot in the past 6 years since Botw. In TotK she won't get mad at you as much anymore.

@@florianp1283if you step on her flowers 3 times she’ll completely obliterate you to half a heart of health regardless of any power ups or defense you have. It’s so horrible that the entire sequence is blacked out with Link screaming in agony.
@@florianp1283 nah, she's not scary, she's just an overly protective gardener who loves her flowers too much, thinking they have voices, which they don't, who WILL beat the living crap out of you, if you step on ANY of her flowers 3 times.
That's why Link is a hero. He doesn't get mad at being murdered violently and cares about health of people who kill him in increasingly disturbing and agonizing ways.

I'm pretty sure she's the strongest character in botw by far. Can't be damaged and can instantly take Link down to a quarter heart regardless of armor or stat boosts.

Of all the places she could've planted the flowers, she chose to plant them around a shrine. She literally had all of Hyrule to choose from, and she chose right there.

The only thing this animation is missing is the moment where every player tries to kill flowerblight Ganon with the strongest weapons in their arsenal.
I love how Link said it's orbin' time and continued to orb around the place.

I love that link looks absolutely terrified when he encounters her in totk. The thumbnail very much shows how link felt at that moment. His first thought was “It’s YOU.”
Having Link sing Live And Learn is a nice little touch when you remember Shady voices Sonic too.
I can't stop laughing. This video from Link singing Live and Learn from Sonic Adventure 2, all the way to Link giving the flower lady a piece of her garden: was a masterpiece. I especially loved the part where he said "May I interest you in a toenail?" Absolute perfection
I wish to see an animation, in which horrified Ganondorf watches Link torturing his minions with the Zonai technology, crussifying Koroks and more, while trapped Zelda is completly emotionless since she is used to watching Link having "fun" while she is in distress.

@@pinoyjona honestly wouldn't be surprised if this animation was in the works way before tears of the kingdom came out and mashed ended up deciding to brand it as a tears of the kingdom animation to make it more relevant in the algorithm
