It's amazing how you don't need a full show to understand these characters. Maybe it's just because we're already familiar with them, but I don't think so---I think Shar's animations are always just so expressive and heartfelt and fun. She can do in minutes what some full-length romcoms take full seasons to do, and I think that's incredible.
I think part of that is not just that we're familiar with these characters, but that we're familiar with Shar's versions at this point since she's been animating them for so long. We've been drip fed these characters and it's made them feel so much more real since experiencing something over a longer period of time makes the story in it feel longer

Omg this is adorable. Love the ending too, with Zelda finding it way too sour. Shows the act if Link giving it to her is far more important than the candy itself.
At 1:58 you can see that Zelda mentioned about how cute chuchu merchandise was, which makes the fact that Link gave Zelda a chuchu candy even more wholesome. :) The attention to detail in all of shar's animations is amazing!!
