@ingothitrust5248 you got every right to be optimistic. Just be aware andy dalton has always been against a vanilla raider defense his career with coaches who were allegic to make adjustments. It was shown last week coach pierce doesnt suffer from that. I'd say andy daltons record against the raiders will stand at 3-1.

Agreed. I've seen SO many games over my times watching the Raiders where we blow games against inferior opponents. I remember the Jets a few years ago, Baker Mayfield with the Rams, the Bears and so on. I don't even know if it's because we're unprepared, looked past an opponent or what, but that shit stops right here, right now. We need to prep for this game like it's a playoff game against the 1 seed, because honestly, in the AFC, every game is a playoff game for most teams since it's so top heavy.

us not crossing 50 has nothing to do with dalton. The key diff SHOULD be our defense. I also think zues is tired of being embarrassed and i expect over 70 yard rushing atleast imo
We also have Marvin Lewis on staff, who coached Dalton when they were back at Cincinnati together. If there is one person who can tell us Ginger's weaknesses and how best to exploit them, it's Lewis.

Dude, go back and look at the teams and the teams’ records when they played Miami and New Orleans back then. Those teams were better, and Fiitzpatrick and Dalton won several games those years.

Best comment I’ve heard in a while ! I’m with you! This clown Minshew has turned the ball over four times in two games! I expect more this game. He’s always good for a couple turnovers a game and he’s just not a good QB no matter how much his teammates say they’re behind him. If Aiden started then they would say the same thing about him.
They would kill AOC behind this weak ass OL. Hopefully once Miller gets back to form and JPJ gets some snaps we can bring AOC. I think our bad OL play and AOC’s inability to get out the pocket or even sense pressure is the primary reason we went with Minshew. I don’t think AOC would perform much better with a bad OL and run game.

@@miguelmejorado5151 that’s not really something players “learn” how to do in the NFL. You can learn how to step up and navigate within the pocket like Brady used to but you can’t really learn how to scramble. Either you got it or you don’t.
