Man, I remember I made my first song in FL years ago, and I completely ignored mixer part cuz it just looks confusing lol. Wish there was this kinds of video back then, so I dont have to learn things the hard way...
That’s so true bro, back in the day it was just trial and error basically haha, but that’s what’s great about the internet nowadays it’s all there for us to learn now!
Thank you so much bro! I thought I would throw it in since not a lot of people mention this in videos like these, one of my biggest pet peeves about automating in FL when I first started using it was the fact that I never could find out how to ACTUALLY delete the clips to stop taking control of the plugin haha
Awesome video. Can only relate to the things you showed to make the life easier. Some more ideas for videos in the future: How to make transitions, build tension, live streams (doing beats/songs from scratch)
thank you so much bro! Making transition is actually a great idea I definitely want to work on a video dedicated to the topic! I will also be looking to do some live streaming within the next couple months too, very excited for that!
Amaizing as usual, btw which exact version of fl are u using rn? Cause mine fl is bugged with some minor, but nasty stuff and i wanna switch to another version to ease my life a bit)
Thank you so much bro! I mainly use FL 12 but will sometimes use FL 21 if I want to use any new features for a specific song, the only reason why I still use FL 12 is because sometimes FL 21 will have a hard time finding samples that I recorded using FL 12. If it wasn’t for that than I would basically only use FL 21
@@SleepyVibesOnly_ oh, i get it. I'm using fl20 and I couldn't make automation on my effects such as wet parameter in reverb generator and etc. Had to automate the volume of reverb generator in order to achieve my results, but this isn't ideal. I guess tomorrow I'll try to install fl21 and test it out. Ty mate!
Bro i had no idea you can split the sequencer by channel and make patterns unique :| it was the only reason i hated fl studio and chose ableton instead, but i hate the piano roll and arrangement in ableton and its overall minimalistc design, its also a nightmare to work with if u dont have live enhancement suite (which enables some quality of life features that ableton lacks) Anyways you just made me give fl another shot, i might as well get ur sample pack it sounds pretty good
I was in the same exact situation many years ago bro! I loved everything about FL Studio except the fact that I had to go through so many weirds hoops to create variations to my songs because I didn't know about splitting the channel racks and making things unique, it stopped me from using it for literal years and I know so many people who went through the same thing! I'm happy to hear the tip helped bro I hope that helps things click in FL for you now :-) (if you do decide to purchase the sample pack from the bottom of my heart thank you I really hope it comes in handy!)
Thank you for watching!
Awesome video man ❤
P.S.
FLEX IS THE GOAT 🐐
(sorry Sytrus 😂)
Thank you so much bro i’m glad to hear you liked the video! Flex has definitely taken some of the shine away from sytrus in my own projects too 😭

Great video man. You touched on every important point and that tip on deleting automation was completely new to me!
