That was really amazing....never knew about it. So interesting. Thanks. I'm so happy that you're showing all this, because I can never see it....my back and legs wouldn't let me. I'm so thankful. You're a gem to us Maltese. God bless. Stay safe my friend
I'm like u Rita. My health won't allow me. I really enjoy reading other people's comments. Very nice man filming these far off places for us. Take care Rita. 😁
Many thanks Bobby ...And there many of them ...More on the way !! hoping the video will be ready next week I go underground of Auserge de Castille of valletta
That place looks so interesting. I would be unable to go down there now and it wasn't available when I was living in Malta so this is the only way I could explore. I had known they were there but didn't realise they covered such a large part of the underside of the city or how deep they went. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks sheila, pleased you enjoy the places i take you..........Always thinking of new things...next month green week and they are going to open the water cistern under the bishops palace ...might try and check them out !!
Loved the video, the music was very sympathetic and appropriate to the ambience. Love the roots, so how long does that mean they are, about 20-30ft long - wow! Sarah :)
yes over 30ft ...but some even longer because they hang down over three stories and run along the floor looking for water, sorry for the low light, the sony is not that great, the music written especially for this exhibition by Susan Philipsz, Take care you two, stay safe
This was very interesting! What a pity the lack of light. I have the bell on in your channel, however, i had no notifications of your last videos. Not only yours, it happens a lot now. In some cases it´s a blessing but not in your case because i find your videos very interesting and i want to watch them all. Cheers
Wow they are so beautiful ,the history 8n them is stunning ! It has been my dream to explore these ,in a few weeks I will do a video of these tunnles .Thanks a lot for sharing and watching my videos my awesome friend ☺👍
Sorry paul you can not , It was only open for a few days, unless you have a friend in the law courts, because there is another door and stairs there going down into the water cisterns
DAVE LAMBERT yes sorry , the sonys not great with low light , but the spot lights where put there for the exhibition, so you can only imagine what it would be like with out any light 😱😱😱😱😱
Hi Steve that was very interesting I'm glad to see the Maltese are finding and share these treasures. I was amazed to see how nice the walk up to Valletta was with the palm lined street. Did they say how much water was held in the cisterns ?
The cisterns under the court house went a long way. Lots of tree roots coming down from above. Could have done without the singing though. What a grand theatre it was 👍 I hope they build another one like the one before, NOT a modern one though. Thanks Steve. Cheers
Yes it was so interesting...and i am sure there is more not revealed yet ?? what do you think ....Been coming over 30 years and never knew about this place
