Thank you so much for everyone who took part in rescuing our fellow brothers and sisters. Rest in Peace for those who passed my sincere condolences to all immediate families and friends to the critical patients in my prayers and i continue to pray for the remaining brothers and sisters that have not been rescued.
I think SA must get to the business of keeping EMERGENCY SERVICE always ready especially AMBULANCES, REACTIONARY POLICE, ALL THE 1ST LINE services. It is better to buy 1st class equipment than to pay for mistakes. I do not understand how you can make people pay for NHI whereas you DO NOT HAVE necessary equipment. This government must take our lives very seriously there are international courts. Journalists must get the habit of reporting irrespective
This is a horrible tragedy, how ever people are blaming the contractor for using cheap labour and materials,in the building game you can't just build you first of all do you civils which is over seen by a civil engineer then when you start building you first have to mark and dig foundations which is checked by the local building inspector then once he is happy you put in your steel work which is checked and signed off by your structural engineer and then are you allowed to cast your concrete which would of been done by a concrete company as this would be truck loads and the company has to keep samples of the concrete mixed for a certificate of MPa strength then once the foundations have cured the brick work can commence which is done by brick layers not cheap labour and I can assure you if the dagga is mixed to wet or to dry the brickies would complain also looking at the structure it is built with clay bricks and not cement maxis which is cheaper than clay bricks so in my opinion it is not because of cheap labour and materials but rather a design fault or over site from an engineer
Who maybe those structural engineers are not qualified and bricklayers all what you count here does not rule out the use of cheap labour until we obtain the proof but for now what we know is that they used illegally immigrants which are usually used as cheap labour because they don't complain so until we see those who authorized the contraction we will still blamed the used of cheap and under qualified labours.
Thanks for all that is being done. A person heard on numerous platforms the cry out for help from the families-Can someone address them, reassuring them that everything possible is done, that its a process and how it works-thanks
GO AND RECHECK EVERY BUILDING THIS ROGUE COMPANIES BUILT. PEOPLE LIVING IN THEIR SHODDY BUILDINGS COULD HAVE BUILDINGS COLLAPSE ON THEM AT ANY TIME. ANC MISSING IN ACTION AS USUAL ON THIS DISASTER.
I'm currently not a big fan of the ANC but I don't know what ANC have to do with this disaster because Provincial and National government are working on it or you want to see green and gold t-shirts there and you will say they are using this disaster to campaign.
Just like the ANC gave permission to SAPS to shoot and kill 34 miners in Marikana. The moral of the story is that we cannot politicise everything. My heart goes out to all in this disaster.
There could also be the issue of property piracy. The mafias are real in this industry just like in the taxis. Bad bad people greasing hands all over, impossible to uproot.
Hopefully their country of origin has their fingerprints. But don't think it will be to difficult anyway. People know them, can identify them.... know their names etc already
I so hope that you will find the rest of the workers! Thinking of them and their families all the time......🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏❤❤

My condolences to the families. And my prayers to the souls that are now in heaven. From Paris France. 🇲🇫🇿🇦
Keeping all in our prayers
Thank-you. Keeping all in prayer.
Thanx for everything you do!!!
Thank you to Gift of the Givers for being front and foremost to the rescue
I'm so hurt 💔💔💔😭😭😭

I wish these officials would express sympathy with the victims and berieved.

Have you opened a case against the contractor? Anyone arrested?
They are dodging the question
Ja it all start with tenders and cheap labour...

Go check the apartment blocks in Stellenbosch, built for students. Even students, staying in these buildings now, say these building sites are shoddy.

Pathetic dragging the ANC into this crap
😂
I would like to here more about locating the owner responsible for this. They seem to be dodging the question
Haven't seen pictures of building before it collapsed
All of these rescue workers on site are an assit to their profesen.
This is clear signs of how inept the Western Cape Building Industrial Council is
Who engaged the unknown contractor?
The contractor is Neotrend Ice Projects.
@@clairetomkyns175 The DA government in George.
How did the DA government gave this company permission to build in George? Western Cape people need to wake up.

@@helenakieser8256 Exactly, glad you understand the moral of the story.
how are they going to identify them through fingerprints when they entered the country illegally?
No passports, No Visas?
Hopefully their country of origin has their fingerprints. But don't think it will be to difficult anyway. People know them, can identify them.... know their names etc already
They keep having meetings. Nothing gets done.
It is because the government have no up todate equipment and they do not take peoples' lives seriously
Are you there? Or are you just reacting on what you see on You Tube? There is no live feed on the rescue actions. Co=ordination via meetings is vital.
