    Video is excellent. Lack of viewers and comments is no reflection on production. All people are interested in is how many thousands of Watts can I mount...and does it support 72v blah blah.
    Those sorts are just road kill in waiting.
    250w is plenty for the average Joe.

    how much friction does the motor make if any can it be used with no power like a normal bike?

    It is so difficult to find anyone making videos on building an efficient e-bike. I have a Trek Verve 3 that I am planning to convert in the next month or so. I am wanting to build it out to achieve that 100mi. mark in real world testing. The bike is hybrid/comfort geometry with 700x45c wheels and a 2x9 drivetrain. My thoughts have been to use a 250w front geared hub but I was unsure if it would be able to handle about a 300Lb load-out for overnighters and maintain an average of 10mph. After seeing this test with all of the hills I am convinced that 250w should be enough. I am planning to run a 48v 28ah super shark style battery on the down-tube and a secondary (probably not as large) battery on the rear rack with a 30 amp controller. I plan to run two large panniers and a handlebar bag for bike-mounted gear. I also plan to pull a converted Schwinn trailer for anything I cannot mount on the bike. The max recommended speed for that trailer is 10mph so, I will be tuning the controller profile for max speed of 10mph on all PAS levels and determine what power curves I need for 1-5 in order to use the motor as efficiently as possible. I live in Florida so most of my adventures will be over fairly flat terrain and on asphalt/gravel. I don't even mind putting in 25-50% of the effort when needed, just is nice to have throttle when you want a break but don't want to stop moving forward. Your bike is incredible and efficient. When saving money and going the distance is the goal, these 72v 18Kw bikes everyone is watching are pointless.
