In their defense, Baby Cat is hard to get. Penhaligans may have contracted the perfumer to make a Baby Cat clone and this version will be more readily available. Fragrance addicts like us may recognize the two fragrances are clones or similar, but most consumers aren't fragrance addicts

I think you saved me from trying to go out and smell Burberry Goddess. It seems to be getting a lot of positive hype... But now I think hearing your opinion has saved me from the trouble of doing so. Hello Gorgeous ❤️ Wow, we do have similar taste! Vanille Leather is pretty and addictive. Harvest Mouse is my number 1, but it is more on the artistic side and may not work on all skins. It is a friendly mouse, not like other Zoologist perfumes 😄 Big hug 🤗💞
Harvest Mouse is a special cute vanilla. I only tried Chipmunk and it is cute too. Maybe only the big animals and birds from Zoologist are scary 😅 Haven’t tried any yet. I love their concept ❤️

I'm happy that Penhaligon's has Eau The Audacity. Babycat is almost impossible to get in the US. It has to be ordered from Selfridges, or a shop in Canada. It's not often in stock. The bottle for Eau The Audacity, is way better than the YSL bottle. Why wouldn't Penhaligon's want in on the market share? You can't own a scent. There are 2 others by the same perfumer that pretty much smell the same. They came out before Babycat, you didn't complain about YSL copying those.

I didn't know that Penhaligons is the same as babycat. Just checked fragantica and its way down the list of "reminds me of" but babycat is #1 for penhaligon. I have lattafa ishq Al shuyukh gold and it smells almost identical to Rosendo Mateu #5 which is also similar. I just bought Arabian oud tarteel silver and its one of the best straight vanillas ive tried..id think you would love it!

But it's a straight forward vanilla that's sweet and edible, says its for men but 100% unisex. The bottle and box are worth it alone. Got some others in the mail I'll share if any are good!

Maybe this is why they decided to release the same scent it in a different form 😄 In Switzerland now Babycat is available in multiple shops. The longevity of Eau de Audacity is not as good as Babycat on my skin, but probably it needs to rest and I am also testing from the small sample… So happy you like Harvest Mouse too, it is an artistic fragrance. This reminds me there is a brand called “Trust me, I am a liar” and they sell the same perfume in 12 different packaging options. “Wear me if you are rich” or “Wear me if you are single”… An anti-consumerism campaign showing it is all a reflection of the ego. Placebo effect 😄

How amazing would it be that this is it?! 😄 Maybe you can describe how the old formulation smelled or if it had similarities to anything. So I can get a better idea

I get a fair amount of saffron in Harvest Mouse. It is similar to Desired from Élisire.
