    You’re an amazing card handler and I really like the humor that you use while teaching a trick. I was really impressed by the effect that you did towards the end of the tutorial where you had a card facing up on the top of the deck and then you appeared to have thumped it with your finger causing it to change cards immediately. I’ve watched that part several times and cannot figure out how to do it. Can’t wait for your next tutorial!
    Thanks so much , Carl Powers

      It is the least. Worse, all these tricks look good only in front of the camera lens. They cannot be performed everywhere. Preferably in a plant environment. This is not to discourage beginners - after a very demanding workout in a controlled environment can handle such tricks, but it is necessary to distinguish who the videos are primarily intended. For example, a stage magician works with a completely different kind of card tricks.

    Fellow professional liar ;)
    Thank you for this tip, I was actually looking for a good way to dispose of the 'disappeared' card when performing a snap change, you gave me my answer.
    One thing though : in the way you show it, the disposal is nice but far from perfect. It will fool drunker guys in a bar, but not a fellow magician. I have worked on this issue and came to a possible solution. I found it much better to take the double cards in horizontal position. In this way, after the change, the disappered card arrives in its hidden position perfectly aligned with the deck, and hidden by the revealed card. Then you just needa remove your middle fiinger from under the card you wanna get rid of, push it with your right thumb. It allows to not have to take the two cards in the left hand, which can allow some angle sights from spectators. I need practice more to see if the slow motions can convert into something fluid for real but... You should try that, let me know what you thought of these lil' tips ;)

    Don't get me wrong but this change is a version of ed Marlo's snap change by Glenn West
    Atleast you can give credit to them as it was released in the dvd A series of unfortunate effects
    And you also commented on their channel about the change so it's probably yessss that you know about the origin of the change...so please support the art!!!!!!!!
    Again not for Hate just wanna inform you
    So no online WAR NEEDED!!!!!!!

      I do appreciate your abilities, but you have to learn how to TEACH nstead of trying to show everyone how good you are. Just show the moves; leave out the unnecessary flourishes. Less is more...

    I think we got the general idea the first 6 times you did the change. 😂
    Great turorial but 3 minutes on a colour change demonstration is way too much time.
    I can't even see any mid roll ads so it wasn't even to get past the 10 min mark for that extra ad revenue. 😂

    Best way to make this even smoother is to make sure your middle finger goes back in the front of the card like your finger never even moved. If you look at some of the examples that this person put in the beginning of the video, you can see his middle finger of his right hand in front of the card, then after he does the snap, it's behind the card sometimes.

    What was the name of the control at 2:02 called?

    • @IWillBethreatheYou
      @IWillBethreatheYou 6 лет назад +2

      Triton-Agar, Gota I don't know the name of it but he pushes in the 2 on the top right corner so that the bottom left corner juts out into the fingers that are holding the deck, then he sort of pulls the card a little out of the deck using that corner. So at the time when he says "in the centre of the deck" he's got the 2 jutting out at him behind the deck. From there it's easy to quickly swing the card out all the way with your ring and pinky and slip it on top, which he covers in this case with a fan. Hope I explained it enough!
