The process for setting upi pin in phonepe is outlined below;
Step 1
Go to the home page ....you need to first add a UPI bank account ..For this you need to click on my money or add bank
Step 2
Go to "Bank Accounts" section. All your bank accounts linked with PhonePe will be shown in this section..If no bank account reflects , try adding bank account. Note that the bank account with the same registered number as used for phonepe is to be selected ...only then the bank account will be traced and added ...why is it called a UPI bank ...it is because the bank supports the upi payment services ...before adding you must ensure that your bank supports UPI based payment services
Step 3
Select the bank account for which you want to set a UPI Pin. You will see a "SET" option in case you have never set a UPI Pin for the bank account. Otherwise you will see a "RESET" option to set a new UPI Pin for the bank account
Step 4 - Most important part - Validating with debit and ATM card
This part needs debit card and ATM validation .......so keep the debit card details for the account ready Enter the " Last six digits " and "Expiry date" of your Debit/ATM card . In case your card does not have an expiry date, then try entering "00/49"
Step 5
You will receive an OTP from your bank. In the next screen, enter the OTP received from your bank . You will also be required to put in ATM pin for the debit card
Once done , click on confirm and proceed
Step 6
This is the UPI page ....here you will be required to put in the UPI pin and then again reconfirm it .
That's it. You have successfully set a UPI Pin for your bank account. You can now send money and make payments directly from your bank account in the PhonePe app by authenticating using your UPI Pin .Note that UPI pin is account specific , so in case there are 10 accounts of same bank say HDFC , there will be 10 upi pins for each and whenever you decide to use a specific upi account , you will need to put in that account UPI pin

Sir, there is one issue after I have set UPI pin it was like debit card is unvalid so is there any problem in my process of doing or may be it's an acnt issue.

you will need to reset upi pin from BHIM app ...do one thing , clear app cache from settings , retry and then if UPI pin is not getting changed, try resetting it ...i have made tutorials for this ...hope it works ...setting up UPI pin can be done in Phonepe /Google pay also ...sometimes server issues happen
