1. One Fighthing Pokemon per Route/Area
(exception for gift/trade)

Love the videos man! I like the length and way you edit them. I get to see sweet fusions, and because of the nuzlocke it makes it so something is at stake if you lose a mon. Plus when one dies, we get to see more fusions, which is what we are all here to see!
Side note, loved how you had SD on all your mons pretty much lol. I didn't understand the mechanics of set up moves when I was a kid and never used them. As an adult It's very satisfying to get a couple SD up and sweep a hole team haha.

Probably tied is gyarape, and Lucaeon. Vegeta was what sealed the deal on me doing fighting as my next mono-run

One thing you probably didn’t know about this game is the secret garden it’s on the right side of route 1 running into one of the trees will let you enter a secret garden giving you some revives and a whole new encounter only available if you beat your rival on route 22 before you beat Brock!
Yes! I can’t remember if I mentioned it in this vid or not just because there isn’t a fighting encounter in there - Riolu is there on modern mode but I did this one on classic.

You should consider putting an epitaph at the end of your Nuzlocke runs with the fallen Pokémon and where they died

Another exciting run! Maybe you could do a gen 2 fusion only challenge? There's some great pokemon in that gen, but you could also be stuck with some stinkers like sentret or pineco. Anyways, I'm looking forward to the next one~

How are you able to set the game to hoenn? Also, how can I make it so that crazier spawns occur in the wild? Such as a legendary.
So when you start any game past your first save it asks which region starters you want gen 1-4, or if you want a custom starter.
For the wild spawns you can randomize them. Either before you start the game randomizer is an option, or there’s a dude in the Pokémon center that’ll randomize an existing file.

What are the steps to be able to fight LT surge. There is a tree in the way and I don’t have hm cut. Also where do I get ticket for ss anne
So it’s the same as the base games for Gen1. If you go north of cerulean and then all the way east you get to bills house. He gives you the ticket, then on the SS Anne go up the stairs and to the left, then down that hallway until you’re outside. At the west end of the deck there’s a green item that’s the key for the captains room. Go back inside the boat main entrance but this time go right. You’ll have a rival battle, and then you can go into the captains room and he’ll give you cut.

@@theuncommonsoap Another problem is that the game freezes for a second whenever I go to the menu that shows my team, such as when I’m switching out.
So I don’t have that specific problem, but on some maps mine freezes for a second or two. Only thing I can think of is if the game isn’t on an SSD and you have one maybe that? But the discord is pretty good for asking ppl that know way more than I do and the devs.
Can anyone help? I’ve tried playing this game but it’s super slow after any transition - in/out buildings, battle scenes. Im talking 15-45s some times. Any idea how to fix?
If I download on MAC would I still encounter these issues?

Hey, IDK if this’ll help but this is what I found on the wiki:
My game is lagging, is there a way to improve performance? Turn off 3D-mode, Turbo mode (CTRL) or reduce window size in the options. You can also try 'Smooth mode' by activating the first option after pressing 'F1'.

Only other thing I can personally think of is if your game is on a HDD and you have an SSD available, move the game onto the SSD. Might be faster

So I found a Google doc of a full walkthrough of classic mode. I think it was on the wiki It’s for an old version but most of it is still correct.
But for Kanto it’s 12, 22, 26, 35, 38, 45, 51, 54, 60.

Once you have an existing game file when you start a new game it asks you if you want the normal starters , a diff region, or a specific Pokémon.

sorry, love the vids but they just dont feel like nuzlocke's without the grinding :P that's another part of the danger in nuzlockes, at least do no repels that's lame
That’s fair, there’s always a lot of back and forth about this on the subreddit. but what I will say is less grinding = fewer EVs which means putting myself in a more difficult position in difficult matches. And I’d say post like gym 1 the likelihood of dying to anything other than a random shadow tag mon is incredibly unlikely in a wild battle, so it’s a time sink to me. But to each their own!
