I like how they took a character you constantly stomp over and over in your play through and made him basically the final boss. His drive to really kill you was so… thrilling to put into words. He could’ve care less about Coral, the ship, or anything else happening on the planet. His only focus was seeing you blow up in your AC.

Oh, and they have passive kojika armour that reduces all incoming damage by literally dissolving bullets mid-flight. For reference, the first mission has you fighting MTs, and the secone can have you fight regular ACs (called normals in that game) and you absolutely tear them a new asshole.
Which one? The boss one? Or the backup one she uses to help you? The boss is not unlockable but the backup teammate ac along with the other boss ac's are unlockable after you beat all missions with an s rank and get all endings. Edit: sorry i also forgot you need to complete all the arena bosses, the allmind secret arena fights, and data log hunts must be complete in the NG++.

The 3rd ending is uhh basically Mass Effect 3 Synthesis ending. Granted it is great for brain fried corpses who are actually worse off than 40k quadriplegic Spacemarines in dreadnoughts. But the thing is no other humans agreed to this. And the moment Ayre said "Entering Combat Mode" that means there is still no peace.
It's possible it didn't spread anywhere and the only thing it really implies is that the Coral to some degree of either full control or as replacements for AI can be in AC's now. Even if humanity is changed it won't change the fact that the Corpos will keep up with their evils.
They stopped AI revolution, eliminated a threat for humanity, even if that means energy loss. 3rd ending -> AI expansion and beginning of another "Era of Armored Cores" (Whole AC series are about Crisis of first Era), 1st ending -> 621 just gives some time to find a good solution for everything

The coral was growing at an exponential rate and could've made the Fire of Ibis look like a joke if not culled, so we explode all the coral, and Rubicon, the last known place of residence for coral, and save what could be systems. It's the evil ending in that we kill everyone on Rubicon and probably then some, but it's a neccesary evil kind of ending.

it's not 100% clear. we know that minds exist in the coral. that's what ayre is, she became entangled with you when you got blown up at watchpoint alpha. she can also interface with certain technology, so i think the idea is those ACs are basically bodies for the newly released coral "people"

During the True Ending the Player alongside with Ayre released all the Coral People and gave them bodies in the Form of ACs and scattered them all over the universe, basically creating a new species of human/coral hyrbids that's pretty much immortal since they transcends the need for a biological body that age and rots. I like that in the final credits of the alea iacta est they use the fires of rubicon This track only appears in the reveal trailer and here (i am not counting the man who burned it all/passed the torch, they are similar but these tracks were not the one they put in the reveal)
Reminded me a LOT of mass effect 3 ending outcomes…in the sense that in all endings, there’s really no GOOD outcome. I mean, sure it plays to the whatever side the ending is for but the suffering is still caused. But still somewhat happier than dark souls or Elden ring endings lol.
for liberator of rubicon you need to decide to fight carla when given the decision in chapter 5 instead of taking on arquebus. for fires of raven, choose to taken on arquebus instead of fighting carla in chapter 5 decision. These two endings can be done in any order for New Game and New Game + In New Game ++ after getting the first two endings you will start getting missions from All Mind. Do all of them and ignore the other choices. You should lead to the true final boss at that point in NG++
Sadly the nineball seraph is not as difficult as the armored core master of arena one.. the ps1 version on nineball seraph is soo fast you barely kept it in the crosshair
it's rarely a question of power and more having the right tools for the job. the shoulder cannon and shotgun are strong sources of stagger, while the missiles and coral laser are reliable damage. all of those weapons also have tons of ammo. there are other combinations that would have a similar effect. there are also other approaches. I went with a mostly basho frame, pulse blade, a shotgun, and the basic missiles. mostly melee'd them all to death
I really, REALLY dont wanna betray Ayre. She was a real one, with you since chapter 2 and not once treated you like a "hound" or slave. Walter can say sorry all he wants but the fact is that 621 is just a means to an end for him. Walter couldnt do it himself so he relied on a brain fried merc unable to really say no to do his work for him. If you go with him your legacy is *burning an entire world to ash* Id rather side with the person who treated me like a person.

Raven has shown that they can take down entire bases worth of craft, its not too far fetched that Raven helped the RLF liberate the Vascular Plant. The coral was probably freaking the fuck out because everyone wants it. We know it's sentient.

Ayre is also using you for her own goals though. If you side with Ayre nothing is resolved.

I killed Ayre because leaving the coral as it is resolves nothing. Mankind will come after it again and the basically the whole game begins again.
