It was 2005, and I was either on Retrojunk or some other similar site (pretty sure this was before YT), and I came across this intro and couldn't believe it! I immediately got the nostalgia feels and knew all the words and sang along.
Funniest part was I lived in an apartment with my best friend, and I had the volume up and he walked in the room and I paused it right after "Look up there, way up high..."
and without skipping a beat he goes "KOALAS IN BALLOONS!" (this is why we're best friends)

It was also the the very first anime I ever saw and as a kid, I loved it! Of course, as I got older, I became more interested in anime programs intended more towards adults such as Outlaw Star, Cowboy Bebop, and Neon Genesis Evangelion. Good times!

I wish Nickelodeon had a classic channel where they played the 80s shows/cartoons. These were awesome.

My mom has an episode of this recorded on a kid-themed blank video from when I was 7. I'm 26 and I still remember this. Thanks for the nostalgia trip.

The scene where Roo, Nick, and Floppy skateboard towards the camera is one of the finest pieces of animation I've ever scene.

This song was the best thing about the show. BIG vapor vibes. Flashback to my grandma’s house laying on the floor watching this and Heathcliff and Inspector Gadget on Nickelodeon. ❤️

Don’t let the cute characters and upbeat song fool you. This show hit hard.
I remember the episode where the mother had to fly across country to transport medicine to a kid that would have died without it.

I could only watch this when I wasn't in school so I associate it with being completely care free. Being able to play in the mornings when the air smelled better.

I wish we could travel back in time to enjoy these shows like we used to. Shows these days aren't just good anymore :( This was my favorite show as a kid. It gave me motivation to do my homework each day.
