Some things you're doing with this div that make it feel bad - MPs are not really optional when you have reservists, the reservist trait lowers your accuracy and fire rate and you need the morale regeneration aura, green reservists take a ton of extra suppression and can barely regenerate at all without MPs yelling at them. And it's supposed to be a mechanized infantry division, but you've systematically un-mechanized 100% of your infantry. I keep seeing people nerf their decks this way and then complain the division is bad, it's happening with a lot of the Northag divs right now as well. With this kind of division, instead of having IFVs, you get bigger infantry squads in APCs and cheap infantry support tanks (the M60A1 RISE for 35th) and they need to be used in close support of each other instead of spamming them separately. Your infantry would feel a lot stronger if they had MPs, M113s, and tanks supporting them instead of just sending them forward with broken heart icons, only LAWs for AT, and no fire support. And for the opener, they can take recon infantry in Hueys and they have a lot of cheap helo & plane units (Huey gunships, OH-58As, Dragonflies) which can make up for their lack of forward deployment.
@@THEVEGEfr yeah, I think they got overnerfed after they came out, but I don't think they're that far behind the curve, I think it's mostly an issue of people not finding their playstyle intuitive. I think especially with former Wargame players, they probably played in that specific style for years and it's hard for them to break out of it, and 35th is the opposite of the classic Wargame meta deck in a lot of ways, as well as the divisions that were in WARNO early like 3rd Armored. 35th relies on low end tanks, reservist infantry, gun artillery, ATGM vehicles, light attack aircraft, that's all stuff that mostly went unused in Red Dragon meta decks that has become more viable thanks to changes in WARNO.
To all the ppl talking about talking no mp etc. It's still not going to redeem this deck. For one, you cant afford to put mp everywhere and all those NG units have like a really really tiny discount for being reservist and are still very mediocre units after getting rid of the traits. Even like the base m60 without ng trait is like the worst medium tanks. Compare them to the likes of t55s, leapord 1s and the amxs.
I feel like it just runs out of units fast for a spam/reservist division. Doesn’t seem to fit my playstyle either so that probably also has a lot to do with it

Definitely still one of the weaker divs in the game

Losing against 35th as 5e on airport, you really have to reconsider your life decisions, how does that even happen???
in this division i like to take the MP with the mp truck that can follow the tanks, its still garbage, but is just a tiny bit better
Without using the military police units that remove the national guard trait...??? something like that your units suck.
wait... no MPs???
don't worry though, eugen will make sure to nerf this division again next patch

I do pretty decent with that division, just got to play on its strengths.

YIPPEE I LOVE THIS STUPID STUPID DIVISION WITH ITS ABYSMAL EVERYTHING
Still beats Berliner Gruppierung
Is it though? Berliner infantry and arty are a million times better, and t55s compare more favourably when you factor in the reservist trait
No... no it doesn't
