Poor Giles! I really feel for him; he's had to explain this about a thousand times, once for each network, cable channel, podcast and video that comes by... But I think we're really incredibly lucky that his were the ears this project relied upon; he did a spectacular job. And as sorry as I am that he's had to endure this very specific sort of PR hell, I can't imagine anyone bringing greater tact, heart, grace, and patience to the gig. I hope he gets a fat paycheck, a fantastic, lengthy holiday with all his friends, and anything else he might fancy to help him recover completely.
Because if we're all very lucky, they'll be tapping him in a year or two to do it all over again with Rubber Soul... :) Thank you, Giles.
There are far worse jobs, and I'm sure the pay is good.

Enthralled with this new release. It sounds amazing! And listening to it again for the one millionth time I am more impressed than ever. Revolver is the quintessential Beatles album and perhaps their best one ever.

I have the two disc cd and I love it. This and the Esher demos LPs along with Beatles 62-66 LPs are my current go to Beatles. Would like if this technology could be used with Love’s Forever Changes.

not happy with the remix of this album. he didn't even raise the volume on the drum fills in got to get you into my life, they are still too low.and he lowered the drums on songs like a day in the life and made them softer.the drums should be in the middle of a song. not on the side, giles always puts the voices in the middle, he concentrates on that. the beatles always like mono because the drums would hit you right in the middle, the songs had more punch
It still feels weird to me. You can't physically isolate the instruments; once they are mixed together, they are their own waveform now. The AI re-creates the instruments based on what it thinks it hears. So these are not the original recordings of the instruments; they are now the AI's interpretation and imitation of the individual instruments. Does that not bother anyone else? I feel crazy. It sounds great, but it doesn't feel genuine anymore.

Agree. An audiophile would take the studio master tapes and make direct transfer to dxd, dsd and pcm 192/24. Anyway, Giles Martin did a very good job and the result is really fantastic!
But if you have the technology (and know how to implement it) you can break down the waveform into its' individual components, for an illustration look up Fourier Transform...
I really want to hear individual de mixed tracks.
