Dallas Bathtub Refinishing does not use standard epoxy or aliphatic acrylic urethane paint. All refinishing is completed using a 5H hardness polyester liquid porcelain that has a plastic resin. This is more like getting a spray in bathtub liner. The new surface is chemically bonded with silane coupling agent. However, my surface bonds so well, the silane coupling agent is not needed. I would rather spend 15 minutes longer and an extra $20.00 in supplies to err on the side of caution. I feel it's the right way to do things!
