    At most of the footie games I shoot, we'd be lucky to get a free bottle of water never a mind a full meal. Hahahaha. Great vid. Thanks for sharing.

    I totally appreciate your joy and excitement; I had an opportunity to shoot an L.A Galaxy game, and the pre-game was a match against former alumni Galaxy players. (I captured an awesome corner kick by Cienfuegos) it was the most exciting opportunity!

    good to see ur stadium named after an Australian company dude. Liked and subscribed.....you have a lot of John Candy in your personality mate. Didn't even know the USA had a soccer league that big - educational.

    Great video.... what was your shooting srttings if I may ask.. did you shoot raw/ raw + up / auto iso.
    Thanks

    • @RobGrayPhotography
      @RobGrayPhotography  6 лет назад +1

      I shot RAW with my shutter at 1/1250, F/2.8 and started at ISO 800 since it was overcast and only changed the ISO as the night fell upon the pitch. By the end of the night I was at ISO 3200.

    I love the weird looks you're getting for vlogging. Haven't seen a lot of sports photographers vlogging.

    Here in England most fans detest scum United. I wanted to know about the settings that you would use at the game. I would shoot jpeg to allow quicker buffering.

    • @RobGrayPhotography
      @RobGrayPhotography  6 лет назад

      I always shoot RAW when the lights of the stadium turn on. I don't run into buffering issues very often with the Canon 1Dx and when I do it's usually when I am shooting both RAW and jpeg. I don't like the auto white balance when the ISO starts going up. I am at 3200/4000 ISO by the end of a match.

    Having to sit beside some of those "iconic" white Canon lenses I can tell you, it's a pain. I've had shots ruined at major international matches by photographers who just don't know how to keep their 600mm lenses out of shot. The flare is unbelievable.

      Can't agree more. I like to put my bag next to me to add extra space so they aren't so close. I think what bothers me more is someone leaning out to get their shot and blocking the whole line.

      Many photos from the first half had serious problems with focus and sharpness. So strange :/
