    Hi Richard. Thanks for the update. I signed up Zeitview but I only got notified twice for a mission and then never sent me any other information as far as getting setup, training, etc…. I was kind of shocked I even got notified for a mission but it only payed $70 so maybe that’s why I even got a notification.

      Yes, they have DEFINITELY let their standards drop dramatically. IF you're interested in pursuing jobs through them, you can email pilots@dronebase.com and tell them you need your onboarding training (or any other training they offer for the types of gigs you want to fill). But, again, I'd proceed with caution.
      Take care, my friend!

    Been there. Tried that. Race to the bottom of the pay scale.

    Richard, definitely not a job worth it. I would think that they would do a preliminary check on the area before sending out a Pilot to do this job, as the requested ALT cannot be done, maybe they know this, but just want pilots to break the rules for there benefit.
    On a second note, I think you may have to review LANNC request. There is a note that comes with the request saying that it is an absolute ATL and you cannot go above the stated AGL that is on the grid map, you cannot go 100 ft above the structure (without further coordination). The rule is 400 above a structure within 400 ft perimeter in class G uncontrolled airspace. Just a friendly reminder...

      I think you are right about them leaving it to the pilot to break the rules for their benefit. They have become quite sketchy.
      And thank you for the point on LAANC absolute altitude. You are correct. Section 3.5 of this document...
      www.faa.gov/sites/faa.gov/files/uas/programs_partnerships/data_exchange/laanc_for_industry/LAANC_USS_Performance_Rules.pdf
      ...states it. So Zeitview's request was just fully impossible.

    What the app you used to verify the max ft in that area that help you not get in trouble?

      Hey! I use "Air Control". It's great for checking airspace and requesting LAANC.

    Thanks, Richard, for the update. I promise you they are getting a minimum of $350-$500.

    After completing over 30 missions, one of the flight managers for Zeitview who evidently has authority to gatekeep all of the Georgia DroneBase-oriented mapping missions has BARRED my account. It was diliberately done out of spite because after I made a request for my account to be reinstated, and it was (got 1 mission some hours later) the mission was cancelled. Now, I'm no longer getting missions. What steps would you take if you were in this position?

      @WildWonderfulWeekends  Месяц назад +1

      Wow... I'm sorry that happened to you. Definitely sounds vindictive. Unfortunately there probably isn't much you can do to force them to reinstate your account. If I was in your situation, I would do my best to realize that Zeitview isn't the company to help me grow in the direction I want and I would consider it goodbye to bad rubbish.
      On the bright side, you've definitely gained lots of real-world experience and you can use that to start developing your own business or apply to join another team of drone pilots. Drones IO is another gig company that tends to pay better than Zeitview and also has good support for pilots. You may want to check them out. Good luck to you my friend!
