      My husband and I moved out of Nashville and to Clarksville a couple years ago. Best decision ever! Our kids are thriving. We’re so happy to call Clarksville home. It’s beautiful and our neighbors are all amazing ❤

    I loved Clarksville. It was clean, nice people , prices not to high, great industrial and factory jobs. Not to mention TNcare avaliable for everyone which is a state funded assistance for medical and Rx. Tennessee is the most beautiful state right next to Mississippi.

      Thanks for the feedback. We get people from all over the country that ask questions everyday about life in middle Tennessee. We always try to look for ways to show areas here in the greater Nashville area and highlight some of those areas that people are interested in moving to. Having trouble deciding between Clarksville TN and Greenville SC...? Any thoughts opinions form anybody appreciated? Especially from people who have been to both. I'm looking for a family friendly safe, conservative city.

    • @livingaroundnashville
      @livingaroundnashville  Год назад +1

      Greenville is definitely a great area. The main difference that I see between the 2 is that Greenville is a well established metro area of both Greenville-Spartanburg and ultimately Greater Charlotte as well. Clarksville is just now coming into an "emerging" market. It is a market that is currently being revitalized and has the support infrastructure of a military base close by. This makes for a pretty great combination of future growth potential.

    whats the best way to move there, i am looking for work and an apartment at the same time and am finding it really hard since i need a job to find housing and i need a street address to find a job! I need help in the way of wisdom!!

    • @livingaroundnashville
      @livingaroundnashville  Год назад

      No problem ELL, Most people will get a job first, unless you can prove income for remote work or any other income you may have. Now if you get a job first it's best to communicate your relocation and the time frame you need to relocate. After you are hired you can find a place and show them an employment letter. I hope this helps. If you have any other questions let me know and I will help the best I can.

    Enjoy your videos! I was wondering what is wrong with Clarksville but I had to laugh. All the negatives are actually my positives and exactly what I am looking for in a town. We are all about lots of activities, outdoor recreation, enthusiastically support out military (husband is a former Marine), and love small down towns. It’s actually on my list of “must haves” list. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful highlights of Clarksville. It’s one of our top three locations to retire in 4 years. Really like Murfreesboro but I think the housing cost exceeding our budget and I am sure that will only get worse.

    Is the water city water from Nashville or is it all well water?

    • @livingaroundnashville
      @livingaroundnashville  Год назад +1

      Great question Michelle. The water system in Clarksville is separate from the Nashville water system. The Cumberland River water shed of Rivers, lakes, streams and wells supply the Clarksville area water municipality. The Barkley Reservoir and Wall Branch are primary sources. It does undergo water treatment and meets the water quality tests.

    • @nutritioncoachjo

      I read an article posted on City-Data (btw… I highly recommend that website for specific information on any area in Tennessee) and apparently Clarksville is ranked as the best water quality, tied with McMinnville, TN.

    Isn't Clarksville in the tornado alley?

    • @livingaroundnashville
      @livingaroundnashville  2 года назад +1

      That is a very good question. The answer is No, Clarksville is part of the Nashville area (a little north). Tornado Alley is across the midwest. The Nashville area and surrounding is part of what is called Dixie Alley. Not really a big deal most of the time. Obviously, there has been a more recent tornado in the Nashville area a few years ago, but they are few and usually years between anything.
