Ppl they always got it wrong wit Gobert I personally got Gobert as the second best defender in the league with Ad being number 1, but Gobert never got exposed defensively in the playoffs it’s offensively where he gets exposed
Rudy's been a major impact since opening day. and youre so right..now people got to say he was exposed in UTAH's roster and coaching scheme playoffs. I've rewatched some utah clips and saw mostly 4 flatfooted out of position Jazz while Rudy got beat trying to guard small quick all the way in with no help coming in time. Scheme and Team "exposed" him before as much as Rudy exposed his playoff worthiness. So impressed with the year he's put in. And he can stay Rested regular rotation Rudy with our ability to throw Kat Naz Jaden Slomo combinations at the 5 spot. Go get that ring you deserve Monsieur Gobert.

in a whole diff place, one wolves fans are used to in a bad way talking about lottery balls again. Hoping they put a good team around the 22yo when he "may" reach his prime years. Rudys the center cog on the wheel.
Well, they did do well against them, but the players themselves said that it was Gobert that instilled that defensive spirit into them. Defense specifically is the one aspect in basketball that grows more, the more players participate in it. If only 2 or 3 guys try, eventually those will give up as well, given that defense works best when all five try hard. That's why the Twolves are so incredible, everyone plays defense hard and thusly motivates the others to give it their all on that side of the court as well. Only then do you really see the benefits of defense, which doesn't have a simple metric such as points for the offense

this is high level IQ defensive understanding and high level effort stuff. from Big Beef to body positioned in advance subtle box outs and seals. Just respect the work ethic he's bringing if nothing else. Rudy has been major ALL year long.

@@jbrown7709 Neon Deon Sanders would have been run off the field if the Dallas Cowboys had a Div 3 practice squad defense around him too. The Rudy Resentment is hard for some folks to overcome.
