- Hey y’all and welcome back! We are glad we got to go out and do some dumpster diving before the storms start this weekend. We found a great assortment of items today with our favorites being the large pink animal cage and of course the life-sized crochet blanket!! That is just too cool. Dumpster diving is so fun because you truly never know what you will find!

I have seen those blankets at the thrift stores.. and I have meet women who makes them.. my oldest aunt too.
The women of the old west is from late 80’s-90’s I believe Time Life put them out.
The deer are supposed to come apart for storing just so you know next time

The pink flower holder is vintage. It's ca;;ed a nursery planter. It was often a gift for new moms. The maide in Japan plate probably is too

The cage can be good for the kitty too. Or for birds. They're at least $500... Is best to take the bags of goodies home and check out later some of the makeup might be fully sealed.. and nail polish too.

That is the cutest blanket I’ve ever seen! Reminds me of raggedy Ann. Nice cage, I believe it’s for parakeets to breed them. Someone probably used it for a bird of some sort. Great work have a fantastic weekend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜

THE BLACK IRON BED HEAD AND SOOT BOARD WAS WORTH A LOT OF MONEY, MY GREAT GRANDMA HAD BEDS LIKE THAT ..THEY ARE VERY HARD TO FIND.
That was a new, reproduction one. Probably really low quality.
My favorite is the giraffe. I had a similar toy as a baby in the early 70s my parents called "Teaser Cat"

I find canvases in dumpsters and make collages. People go to art classes and just toss stuff. I make paper flowers, beads, boxes, and holiday decorations, too.

I bet the My Pad was one of those that insurance companies provided to patients receiving home health . The care givers used them to clock in and out and get their schedules and notifications. Now care givers just use their phones. They told us patients to keep the boxes when they gave them to us, but they've never told us what to do with them now. After several fruitless inquiries, I've concluded that it costs more to take them back than they're worth. I was told by one insurance person "Just toss it". ✌
You're right! I'm a caregiver and we clock in & out using the clients home phone or our phones. Been doing it for 10 years now!

The large, multi-level pet cages like that work great for chinchillas and ferrets!!!
Suggestion on the Easter eggs. Use some 6 dry beans inside of them. And roll them for your kitty.. he will love it.. suggestion the sun will dry the bath mats if you place them on the floor..
I think I saw that Elvis plate in a glass display cabinet on pawn stars. Hopefully its worth alot of moola!😊

Stop saying how hot it is, I am sat here in the UK with the fire on as it is only 42F and has rained most of the evening as it has done every day since New Year, hoping Spring arrives soon.
The baby shark bath toy had a recall on them. If it's the one with the hard top fin, it can cause harm to a child if they accidentally sit on him in the bath.

Always watch your videos, and enjoyed the new mics, but they also picked up a bit of wind noise. Another youtuber I watch has recommended a deadcat mic cover to help with wind noise (funny name I know). Happy diving!

I was wondering, around 24:00 in the video, I saw a glass gallon jar with the lid, why you didn't pick it up? Maybe where you are at you don't make sun tea, but in Az. I make it a lot. Even at Goodwill those are not cheap to buy. You found some pretty good stuff, again.

Hello Everyone! One of the not so nice things of DD is the stinky stuff, but well worth the chance of finding treasure. 🎁 You should have taken that "diaper" thingy bag ... sometimes people put their valuables in there, like jewelry or coins.
If you are really into that "leather bound" book,and if you feel it's worth it, as long as it's still damp, you can flatten the pages back out by putting wax paper in between each page and then wrap the book itself with a good amount of the same wax paper and put some kind of heavy weight on top of it and leave it till its dry.
It’s not worth it and it is not leather bound. They are pretty common Time Life books. That one is from the Old West series.

Metal beds make excellent garden gates or trellises.
Mics make a difference. If you have trouble with them on your t-shirt clip them on the side of your cap.
I owned that same book when I was younger donated it to my public library .you will find it interesting 😀
U can keep that WOK for those summer-time camping, just have some clean metal cooking utensils. Be sure to oil it well and keep loosely wrapped in non colored newspaper. I love camping out. You can also put a heavy-duty trash bags, when you find a cooler, have 2 and use one for eggs, bacon, cheese, and always have matches, containers for water...😂😂
U guys don’t recycle copper and stainless when u find it? Always take copper, brass, and stainless….throw it into a 5 gallon bucket and when it’s full u can cash it in…I usually get around $100 for a 5 gallon bucket of clean #1 copper…it’s the thicker gage wire that is in the walls that feeds power to the outlets etc…and copper pipe for plumbing etc…it’s a god send for when things get tight for the budget…one year I had the irs drain my bank account cuz if my ex husbands back taxes he refused to pay….if it weren’t for that 5 gl bucket of copper I would have been in bad shape

Sometimes I see small kittens in those cages like the pink one at the shelter, but I believe they are for ferrets and sugar gliders and other small animals.
