Chantz Fabz As a mixed local 378 and 377 you should give the rod busters some love to brotherKeep up the awesome work I think you should also go to different job sites across the United States that was pretty awesome
Did a Google search and the Hoover Dam started on April 20th 1931 and the Golden Gate Bridge started January 5th 1933 both had hardhats but I believe the homemade ones at the dam was first..... local #372. Now local #70 (#372 was merged with #44) I transferred to #70 keep up the good work, videos are awesome!!!
I just found one of these at a garage sale today for $2.00 aluminum so has to be from the 30’s ya ? Good shape some red paint left on it and a couple dents and the harness is still in tact I sanded it down gonna pound out the dents paint it . Trying to figure out what color to paint it ? I was thinking red with some black pinstriping but now the Golden Gate Bridge ? Hmmmm let me know
Why the eff do people steal hard hats off the job?! It’s one of the more personal things a craftsman owns. I’m missing my fiberglass 502 hat that some piece of trash stole. I can’t believe that it’s several hundo to replace it! I hope they get good money for it.
Hell yeah brother you’ve been marking the videos I though I should make for ever. Try and help these kids get workwise, and of course I’m a westcoast irondogg and rep my 1938 aluminum and 1969 fiberglass Bullards 👊🏼
Man, when I'm on the iron wearing my Bullard I hear the same music from the Golden Gate Bridge documentary. Local 229 here.
Awesome video brother
I’ve worn the Bullard Hard boiled 303 hard hat for the last 30 years working in a power company in Florida with pride
Out here in California a Bullard is earned! Especially Northern California. Great video much respect from local 118

Chantz Fabz Also you should make a sticker “why call the hall if I can do it all”
These guys are fuckin legends , ridin some big ass iron over the bay like that
Right!??? Crazy huh
Where can you get replacement suspension for a 502 ? Doesn’t seem to be any place that has them except eBay refurbished ones.
I was always told the Hoover Dam was the first hard hat job and they came up with it using regular baseball cap that was covered in tar or something

I’m glad the men had the provision of hard hats during erection. I know that’s when my wife likes me to wear mine the most.
