  • We followed Greg LeMond during a week in July 2019. This story shows who Greg really is. A very friendly man taking his time for normal people like all of us.

I met Greg LeMond when he was 15 and racing and beating all the 18-34 year old hot shot racers in Santa Cruz CA. I watched him and cheered him as he won races in Pacific Grove, Los Gatos and Santa Cruz. Miles Cobbett Author of the book Champion

I had the pleasure of meeting Greg LeMond in 2012. Your description of him was spot on in your mini-film. For the few minutes, I shared with him, Greg treated me as an old friend that he hadn't seen in years. I had shared a story with him how my ex-wife had surprised me by flying me to out to have dinner at his restaurant, The Tour Cafe, in Edina, MN. What an incredible memory.
Thank you so much for sharing this tribute to Greg LeMond. He truly is an American treasure.

I must of read Gregs book, Greg Lemonds Complete Book of Bicycling over a hundred times over the years since it was released back in the 90's, it's has such an influence on the way I trained until just a couple of years ago when I stopped competing, I owe so much of my success as an amateur cyclist to Greg and his way of training, thank you Greg.
