"Carving" A Guitar Neck

Power tools yes. I'm not ashamed Haha
There is still a good deal of art and judgment in shaping a neck that feels good.
This is an African mahogany neck, with a salvaged flame maple fingerboard. That piece of flamed maple actually came from a pallet. It isn't super "clean" looking maple, it's a very dark color compared to most maple I've worked with. The figure is however very tight, and looks really great under any finish. I've used one already as a fingerboard and have about 4 more.
