Did anybody else see the awkward missed hand shake between Greg and his friend when he introduced him? 😂 Happens to us all. Loving the videos, great fun.
Where I live, I have three bugout locations. Desperate time's call for desperate measures. Passed down from Grandfather, and two uncle's.all of 90% of my family is former military and When you gotta get outta dodge, you gotta get outta dodge. Appreciate your channel and content Greg Ovens😎😎😎
My dad is a salvage logger in those parts[naturally fallen cedars for shakes n shingles] He used to tell me *only loggers and pot growers go into the bush so far* ...Now theres Greg !🤗
7:34 So funny when lloyd try to grab his hand to shake it and Mr. Ovens just get on with his introduction. 🤣 love ur videos. They are funny, smart and full of all that nice nature. Never Stop it pal. Big up!
Hey Greg. Good to see your still posting great videos. I’m back and thought I’d comment on it as I always do. Now this time I’m commenting before I watch the video. Haha it’s a little backwards. Stay well and safe bud.
I find those old cabins and houses out in the woods all the time-- it is crazy, what a time it must have been to be able to just find a place in the woods, and settle down.. the times sure have changed.
Always start under the log, if it is a clean attack. Do a pinch at bottom. An angle. I avoids accidental pinching of blade. Trust me, Start at bottom, when cutting log to pass on road. Love it bro, Van. I would love to learn some stuff from you.
I just watched Season 3 Alone and cried REAL TEARS when this amazing soul had to tap out. I had to stop everything and pray for massive success for him just so I could feel better! Searched for him on Google and he has a channel!! 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Great video as usual Mr Ovens. Keep up the good work! Love how you consistently keep it simple and appreciate that when imparting bush knowledge to the RUclips world whenever possible you always show and tell instead of only the later as many in similar fields do. Much respect from Santa Cruz Ca. 🤙
Sorry for sounding like I am complaining Greg, but I'm sure we all would love to have more than ten minutes with you. Longer videos, please! Props to your editing crew. The creepy guy in the truck was a nice touch. Love the sasquatch strolling by once before as well. I still think sasquatch should be Greg's mascot. Fowler has the hat and beard. Greg's could be bigfoot strolling by off in the distance in each video. Just a thought.
I would not use the old tipi. Somewhere you are allowed to be feels a lot safer. And you don't need chicken wire, you need anti-weasle wire! Looking forward to the build. And as this was in april, I bet there has been a lot of work done already. Really looking forward to see more!
Cracking video Greg you found a bit of history up on those mountains mate very kind of your friend to let you us his land looking forward to seeing your next video atvb Jimmy from England 🇬🇧
Looking forward to your chicken coop build! Just got chicks, bought a small coop. Want to see what your building material will be! Had skunk problems before with a previous coop. Was told to use wire mesh underneath to deter predators digging.
Awesome start to the series Greg, I'm excited to see what you come up with out there. That Teepee is a very cool style, looks like it had a 2nd level for sleeping or storing stuff. You should try to make a new Teepee in the same style, perhaps re-using any of the base logs that are still in good shape.
Hello Greg! I sooo wanted to have a drink from that spring! I liked the design of the TP, I’m guessing the plywood were the beds, cool idea, I could go for that if I were younger, for me, they would be great for a storage area! but being n my 50’s, It would be fine for the weekends, but if I were to live n it, I’ll settle for having the bed on the ground. Sounds like u need to make a bed big enough for two 🤭, u might consider getting a few layers, u, she might want eggs for breakfast! U crack me up! Thank u
That has happened to me a number of times in the past 20 years. It seems these younger generations are not paying as much attention as the ones before them. When it happens to me, I am taken aback a bit. My mind goes to, "did I suggest something I didn't mean to"?
Ahhh finally some good vids coming our way.. Love your vids started watching your channel when you were under 10k..welldone brother.. From South Africa
Sometimes around those old cabins you can find hops, which the settlers brought with them as a yeast sub. The vines can last for 100 years easily, I've found them growing in those places.
Really happy I found your channel. I enjoyed watching you on Alone and these are even better! Also, you have a really good TV voice. Keep up the good work!!
I think it's a good idea to have permission for the land. Also having some reception, though not as "outdoorsy", is good for safety. Stay safe out there! :)
Always love watching Greg. Makes me laugh and has awesome content. I'm assuming (and hoping) that the guy in the truck was an edit. Kind of creeped me out lol. What a great series this is going to be!
Outstanding Greg !.....Another adventure series to follow....can't wait to see what unfolds and the bushcraft skills you demonstrate for this one...loving your work as always!!....like we say over here, "Greg Ovens: The Man, The Legend!" 👍🏼🦘🇦🇺
GREAT SERIES IDEA! I'm relieved you moved on from the first spot, with the teepee: those people might need to come back. In 'desperate times' Church People are often there to help.
Did anybody else see the awkward missed hand shake between Greg and his friend when he introduced him? 😂 Happens to us all.

It’s funny Greg reminds me of my uncle
In which I shared this with him lol
I love watching Greg's channel, it's the only channel that I can watch for 30 mins and the time just blow by lol.

Another instant classic. I think the commentary keeps me coming back. Keep up the great work Greg!

Nice to see you about. Watch everyone. Cant wait.
Gosh that phone call towards the end had me belly laughing 😆 💀
Hey Greg, good luck with making a weasel proof chicken coop in the Bush. I will certainly be watching for the results of this project!
Really enjoy these videos! Been binge watching since I found these videos. Keep them coming really like how informative they are!
There was a ghost sitting in your truck watching you cut that tree out of the road 😳
Had to be some of zach's editing....right? 😬😐
I saw that creeped me out for sure what was up with that Greg lol
Matthew Mahoney if you look close
I was wondering if that was a decal on rear window... Creepy... :p

Same here, the 30 days challenge is awesome and now this.
The flow is looking sweet in this one!
Very kind of your friend to let you use his property. Good folks right there
Man, I love Greg. Through your alone days, Fowler bush days and now your off grid. You’re awesome man! What knife and companion do you use?

In Canada they're called 'SamSquantches' (Bubbles---Trailer Park Boys)
Haxman has a bigfoot that strolls through his videos sometimes. 😁

Looking forward to seeing the series come together. Got a feeling your saw might need a file running over those blades. 🤔
Yeah, good luck in advance with the weasels... Looking forward to seeing you start to build everything. Thanks.
Yay, found the spot. Really looking forward to this.
Best RUclips channel by 100 miles and I’m a big fan of plenty

also chicks if you have some
But it's totally NORMAL talk for country people. LOL!
@@davesanders9203 You would think someone that sells chicks would be country, and know he meant chicks with feathers! Not naked chicks. LMAO

In Canada it's legal to camp on Crown (government) land in one spot for up to two weeks. Not sure about the chickens though 😁

Who is the other person in the pickup at 2.20 mins ?
GREAT SERIES IDEA! I'm relieved you moved on from the first spot, with the teepee: those people might need to come back. In 'desperate times' Church People are often there to help.
Oh cool! A live stream! Love your videos, I've been telling everyone about them.
