Occidental Punta Cana, All Inclusive Hotel at Bavaro Beach in Punta Cana

Occidental Punta Cana is a Hotel you can book for Caribbean Holiday without spending a fortune .
You can walk out to different Bars and Souvenir shopping. If you go out at night, a Taxi is still recommended.
It is one of the Hotels that has been in Bavaro "forever" and was well know for their Discotheque MANGU, when it still was the Flamenco Hotel.
It's as well one of the smaller Hotels.
The grounds are well maintained, the food was a bit disappointing. I only stayed one day. Went to the Buffet for breakfast and the Snack bar for Lunch. The restaurant at the Beach is only open on weekends. The hotel was on low occupancy. That's might an explanation . Like most Hotels in Punta Cana the Occidental is Beach front. Now in Summer you you can count on Seegrass. It's just a question on how much and for how long.
