Would be interesting to see these GPUs compared on a 7800X3D. Not because the 13900K is a bottleneck or anything, but because that's the CPU gamers would opt for if they chose either of those GPUs.

@@mitsuhh Yeah, thats a LOT of money! A DOLLAR a day, and if you ain't gaming 4 hours a day, 365 days a year, you're paying $1/Day tax for nothing, added to the depreciation when you re-sell for pennies.
980Ti was a 5 year GPU. It cost £550. 1950XTX was a 5 year GPU, it cost £380. Even if you ignore the fact that Covid sent the 4090 price into the $2500 range for MOST of it's shelf life, even if you focus on the current $1800 pricetag, that's 3.25x more expensive than the 980Ti was. Absolutely insane! The fact that the 4070 series, essentially the same performance as a GTX970 was, is 2.5x more expensive. You can't *justify* that, it's simple - PC gamers are getting shafted.
Today, you have to pay £1800 for the top end card, £1000 for a 3 year card, like those reviewed.

Shit they even charged people $400 for a 4060, a card that could not even run modern games at 1080p 60fps without turning down detail settings!
Even the HD7870 or GTX 560Ti, cards that played modern games on release at 60fps 1080p, cost under £200 at launch for basic models.

@@Qelyn Yup. Is not the fanciest model tho, Is a PNY VERTO, but is an OC model, and it runs frealing cold. Highest i've seen it reach is 60 celsius while gaming and im in a room with no AC, but my case is damn well ventilated: 3 bottom intake fans, 3 upper exhaust aio radiatior fans, currently runing it with my 5800x3d, about to upgrade to a 7800x3d tho.
So the card looks fine, just not fancy rgb, but the cooler is huge, damn solid, it even came with a neat anti-sag bracket that is pretty stealth, and of course metal backplate.
Where do you even live, im from Switzerland and my 7900xtx cost me 819$ lmao

no, this brainfart is just not using the adrenalin software correctly and benchmarking only with intel cpu without amd cpu and amd sam on, so the real boost for the poor rx is not given here, what you see here, if you use like me a ryzen and know how to use adrenalin, you can add like 10-15% on top of his ass benchmarks and then you know the real stats...

I can't believe I'm saying this, but it looks like there's a minor CPU bottleneck on the 7900 XTX in Red Dead 2 and Starfield. That GPU could run the games even faster if the 13900K wasn't slowing it down...at 1440p. Sigh.

The thing is the 7900 XTX isn’t £1000 amymore was msrp cheapest i found was £849.99 cheapest ti super was 819.99 and if you have the 7800x3D you can then use SAM and get 10% increase in performance such a great gpu

Can't say the same for the US though. xtx has been averaging around 1k and up lately and rtx around 900, with one listed at 819.00 oddly enough as of this writing. Basically depends on your market, think AU has some odd numbers too.

It beats the 4080 in raw raster and these cards are good when its comes to undervolting my friends 7900 XTX never passes 300W and 60C sapphire nitro model and if amd improves drivers like they did with 6000 series which caused a drop in power consumption then itll be even better

I am pleasantly surprised by 7900 XTX RT performance. I thout it would be about 2 (or even 3) times more FPS on 4070 Ti Super in RT but it's advantage is not so big.
advantage is not so big in non rt too between the 2 and 4070 ti is cheaper

if u consider the ti super is a 1440p card and the xtx is a 4k card for 200 more usd then the rt performance is quite big and it way bigger for path tracing. amd is quite bad for rt not that it's an important feature imo, i think the dlss advantage is much more important

4070ti super has better temps and less power draw meaning more longevity and less eletric cost.
The performance is near identical and i have a 7800x3d paired with my super. It really is the king at 1440p and can even do 4k. I use an uw Oled 175hz and its the best gpu ive ever owned coming from a 3080, i will stick with this until the 6000 series if not maybe longer cause i can game at ultra 4k on older games and even 4k ultra on new games so 1440p is more than good enough

In Poland, you can buy RTX 4080 for less money than RX 7900 XTX and for me this is better choice. RTX have dlss, frame generation and its way better in ray tracing. Only advantage of XTX is 8gb of vram more.

Those tests are always a bit stupid, both cards are fine, you don’t need to put everything at max settings… Especially shadows… Hell ! Sometimes you don’t even see the difference while playing with some settings (Yes I’m looking at you Depth of field and Bloom).
The main difference is that Nvidia cards have lower temperature overall which is an interesting point for me.
In my personal opinion top of the range AMD is pretty poor. You don't get very good ray tracing, don't get shadowplay or highlights, don't get DLSS and most of the time you're paying similar if not more than NVIDIA cards. Granted the 4080 series and the 4090 are insanely expensive but when the 4070 ti super is about the same as your top of the range card at a fracion of the cost it's surely gotta ring some alarm bells. Never been a big fan of AMD but even ik they're better than this...

As soon as we turn on RT, AMD cards fall apart… Money-wise the AMD is in raster as good as the Nvidia: price/framerate is similar; with RT on… AMD cards are very bad. I would buy neither in 2024. I’ll wait for newer chips and prices: I’m confident that the next gen will be more power saving and AMD will raise the RT bar significantly, then maybe with a competitive price/fps.
The test is biased. 7900 XTX needs to be compared with 4080 super - this is the first thing. Secondly, I will definitely prefer Nvidia because of the "RTX HDR" and DLSS.

the dlss and fsr difference has to do with the image quality. the fsr is a worse upscaler because it doesn't use ai technology, in 4k the difference isn't so big since u upscale from higher resolutions but if you play on 1440p and use the upscaler the difference is very noticeable. the fps difference comes from ray tracing. nvidia has special cores that handle ray tracing performance quite better.
These 1440p comparisons are only of limited use to me. With my 4070 ti Super, I display between 1800p - 2160p depending on the game, due to gaming on a large living room TV display.

Yea, but the games you mentioned don’t need DLSS/FSR (and pretty much any game that does need it has it) to run well anyways and definitely don’t need high end cards like these. A 6600 would run these said games at high refresh rate just fine. So just imagine what these cards could do. You wouldn’t even be able to notice the difference between them because the FPS is so high

not at all but the upscaler is imo, given that now it's a must in gaming and since dlss is much better, especially below 4k resolutions i think that makes the ti super the clear winner, plus there are other advantages u will get, faster and better fg implementation, the ability to stream on twitch, better drivers, lower power consumption and 200usd lower pricetag.
