I have been getting really bad cramps in my legs for a few years now, and I went to the doctors and they told me that they didn’t know why I was getting cramps. Do you use ice baths, or use a natural remedy for cramps Coach Sell? I am 52 years old and I know other players older than myself who don’t get cramps at all. Thank you for your help and advice my friend. I am trying to set up a tennis foundation for touring professionals like yourself and Simon. I think it’s not fair for young people not to be able to tour because of travel expenses. Thank you for all that you do for the game of tennis, which I love.

Hi. I have been dealing with cramps as well specially on tournment days, were I play more than normal. I read an article from a physical football coach were he said he had this issue with some profissional players and couldn't find the real reason, since they were top players in top physical form. So, he discovered that some people tend to lose higher amounts of sodium through sweat, so for those athlete he started introducing higher amounts of sodium in recovery drinks while the players were performing, and that seemed to work. I have been adding salt to my isotonic drinks and so far haven't had those bad cramps as I used to have.

why do this on the court and not in a gym? You'd have access to a lot more equipment indoors.
